“Ladies and Gentlemen of Ivesi. This weeks marks a new beginning for our great nation. A new start or rebirth even, of one of the greatest nations Africa has ever known. Now I’ve never been one for theatrics or emotions, but what the people of Southern Africa have managed to do, being able to come together when the world thought they had finally split us apart is remarkable and quite frankly it brings a tear to my eye. So thank you. Each and every one of you who went to the polls, who lobbied the states, who protest in favor of our new union, all of you will go down as national heros. And you should be called nothing less.

That being said, we have just under one month until our new government fully goes into effect and we still have plenty to sort out. Who will be the first Head of the Council? What is the future of our national currency? Who is running for all of these elections and is one month enough time to elect a whole government of officials? I could go on all day. And while I can asure that all of these questions will be answered in due time, one issue remains at the forefront of our thoughts.

What will Ivesi’s new Capital City be? Now I know there will be many of foreigners around the world watching this program and for them I will explain the issue in detail. Ivesi’s old capital, the only one that Ivesi has ever known, Jarrod, has fallen outside of our borders. The great city now falls within the new borders of Orange-transvaal. What this means is we must select a new capital city. While many suggestions have been put forward such as making it a city towards the center of Ivesi, or such trying to retake our old capital, none of them seem viable at this point in our nation. One that does seem viable though, is to make this great city that I am currently standing in, Mmana, the new capital of Ivesi.”

The crowd erupts in cheers at this statement

“Now this decision is one that the new committe and possibly the first Council of Ivesi must make, but you all have my word, at our first meeting in just a few hours from now, this will be the first suggestion I put foward.

With that this concludes this speech. Sorry for its short length, but we have a whole lot of work to get done and I’m hoping to get it done sooner rather that later.

Oh and one last thing, as it pertains to the Head Council Member elections, I am officially declaring my candidacy for the position. The shuttle is of a different design than the previous. While that one was reminiscent of the old Earth-made V-22 Osprey, this one looks almost like an old wooden ship modified for spaceflight. (OCC:More Advanced versions of the Bullhead and Mistralian airship respectively)
Just before the shuttle reaches the hangar, it explodes violently. The burning husk slams into the first shuttle, shearing off one wing and pushing it several meters before it also explodes, though in a much smaller fireball.

Many hanger hands along with the chief rushed to put the fires out. While many seekers and areocons looked thoroughly agitated.

"Well that is just grand," Knockout said.

"That is some heavy bad luck right there a stowaway on one and the other one is playing campfire on the hanger deck," Breakdown said.
