Comrades, I'd like to apologise for my lack of activity in the region over the past few months for I have been dealing with some personal issues. Thankfully though they have now been resolved and so I should be more active around here!
This is a rallying call to all nations that form the government as well as the rest of the region, if we sit inactive the region will slowly fall back to it's previous position where it lingered around 10 nations with only one or two being active. We cannot allow this.
I would like to propose a minimum level of activity required for a nation to be a part of the government, perhaps a law stating that you must check in on the region once every two days at least. The specifics can be debated but this policy will ensure that only the most committed and active regions are able to play a part in shaping and leading the region. This should hopefully help keep the region alive !

This is an interesting concept, but how would we define the necessary activity level?
The only way to tell if a nation is active is to look at their activity feed and so we could look at that to determine whether or not they have been active. For example, if it says that they have addressed issues recently this shows that they have been active, the same goes on whether or not they have voted on WA proposals or posted onto the Red Alliance RMB.
As I said before, the specifics of this policy are definitely up for debate however; implementing it in whatever form it may take will ultimately be a positive change for the region.
The Trotskyist International Party (TIP) has fallen from its position as Leading Party of Trotsin after a coup lead by the People's Revolutionary Party (PRP). This was an unprecedented move and marks the first time that a party other than the TIP has lead the country since the birth of the United Socialist Republics in 1943. The ruling figures of the TIP such as Albina Goddard and Maļa Lane have been imprisoned for "crimes against the working people of Trotsin" whilst the rest of the party has been forced to disband. In her victory speech, PRP leader Alla Roux had this to say on the matter: "The TIP of 2018 is NOT the same TIP that inspired hope in the hearts of millions of Trotsinians in the years of the revolution, the TIP of 2018 is the party that has abandoned the dream of an international movement and so sold out each and every one of you that has worked day and night for the socialist dream! For too long has Trotsin been laughed at as a weak relic of a bygone era by the international community, we will lead this nation to the socialist future that was promised to you all those years ago! At once we shall reform Trotsin into a fairer, more equal society and work with the greatest dedication to strengthen the position of fellow socialist countries worldwide. A new era, a new Trotsin!" Public support for this change currently seems to be high with people flooding the streets in celebration of the shift in power, whether or not this support remains high in the coming months and years is a different question entirely and is one that can only be answered by waiting.
The new revolutionary government has already implemented rapid changes such as the implementation of a new national flag that better represents the new international focus of the fresh leadership; there have also been talks of drafting a new constitution that will "Stand the test of time and ensure that Trotsin stays true to its principles". Roux is also perhaps one of the biggest critics of Trotsin's government structure with here describing it in its current state as "Inefficient" and something that would "Greatly put Trotsin at risk should we be required to act effectively and decisively". Whilst it is hard to predict exactly how these criticisms will translate to actual change within Trotsin's political system as a whole, one should expect a streamlining of the political process in the future as well as potential as power being more centralised.
How this new government with its assertive foreign policy stance will be viewed by the world stage remains to be seen however, it is certain that what has happened on this day shall have a great impact on the future of this country.
I've decided to follow the example set by Haeraelia and start a newspaper for my nation. These should come out hopefully on a weekly basis and will discuss news events within Trotsin as well as international events.

Hey guys.
It's been a tough year for Red Alliance. I speak to you as a comrade and a loyal member of RA for almost a year now. I won't sugarcoat this- I've decided to resign as you Minister of the Interior, and as a member of the region.
For many months now, politics in Red Alliance has been slow, indecisive and inactive. I've made a few friends both in real life and on NS who have agreed to form a region with me. Furthermore, the death of Letwinist States has only furthered my decision to make this resignation. This does not mean the disbandment of the People's Conservative Party, however. I appoint Provinci as the new Chairman of the Party as my final political act in this region.
Please do not take this personally. I have made many friends since I joined, and I am glad to have met such wonderful people. Thank you for a great year, I have learned so much from such few. I will not be leaving the Discord server, and you can count on me to continue sharing my counsel, opinions, and guidance.

Comrades, it appears our region has fallen under some hard times with the unfortunate loss of several key government nations as well as the region's founder. We should not let this harm our spirits or our goal of building a thriving and engaging community. If anyone is interested in filling the gaps in the government I urge you to step forward as we need new nations now more than ever to help steer us forwards. As your Executive Chairman I will do everything in my power to ensure that the Red Alliance is a thriving and engaging community for all who join.
I ask you all to rally around your WA Delegate and step up to fill the vacancies in our government, if anyone has any ideas on how to develop and grow the region then now is the time to share them!
