One after another, the Imperial Knights around the compound fall. The Stormtroopers refuse to fall back, yet they still fall from the Rivish onslaught. The Rivish make it to the bridge, but the captain of the Royal 1, one of Fels most trusted advisors, sets the ship to self destruct. It explodes in the port, killing all aboard, and damaging the surrounding area.
Many imperial die in the surprise attack. Many never get the chance to fight back.
“Do as you will. I will not beg you.” Fel says, getting up, despite being injured. Standing to face the man the betrayed him. “Have the courage to kill me yourself.”
"This brings me no pleasure, but I do what I must. Rivetish Supremacy must be maintained, let the history books write what they will about this moment and this betrayal. However, it is not my place to decide your fate..." He removes the knife from Jewel's throat and takes a step back.
Jewel ignights a red lightsaber, and steps towards her father. “I’m sorry, father.. but it has to end this way”

Fels face sinks. He falls to his knees.
“Jewel.. what did they..do to you.”
After a moment of hesitation, Jewel runs Fel through with her lightsaber. He grunts in pain.
“I... love”
Are the Emperors last words as he falls to the floor dead.
“Has the attack begin?” Jewel asks Vossen, still facing her fathers corpse.
Vossen observes the scene with a grim look, before picking a data pad up off the table, "Yes. Royal 1 has exploded. Imperial forces are engaged across the region. The Reserve Legions have been activated. Invasion fleets sail for Arboria and Embershine. As planned, agents planted within Galadriel and Yezern have started riots and uprisings Suicide drones will soon attack the 102nd."
Meanwhile, a Rivetish Kaptan confronts the last pocket of Imperial resistance at an outpost in Riveti, "Come out with your hands up, and surrender! There is no need for you to die!"
As the Royal 1 begins to explode, the captains stands on the bridge, hands folded behind his back, calmly looking out onto the sea. “Thank you for your loyalty, gentlemen.” He says to the officers and crew around him. “Long live the Empire.”
The phrase is repeated back to him in a defiant cheer up until the Royal one explodes.
Meanwhile at the outpost, a stormtrooper shouts “For the Emperor!” As he and twelve other Troopers pop out from cover shooting.
The Kaptan doesn't flinch as his own men mow down the Stormtroopers, "A shame, one of them may have had useful intel. Alright men, start looking. They couldn't have had time to destroy all of their vital documents."
A Storm Commando waits out of sight for the enemy to enter the outpost, then tosses a detonator in the middle of them
A trooper picks it up and throws it into the air, but the explosions still kills a trooper and wounds a few others. A couple of troopers manage to restrain the commando, removing their helmet and dragging them into the open.
The commando says nothing. He looks up at them, no emotion on his face.
“What do we do with him sir?”
The Kaptan stares down at the commando, pure hatred in his eyes, “Beat the bastard bloody, then secure him for transport to the Vault.”
The troopers nod, and one swings his rifle like a baseball bat into the head of the commando. The other troopers join in while other begin to collect documents.
The trooper collecting documents is hit from a silenced sniper bullet, along with two of the troopers surrounding the commando. The Storm Commandos team snipes from the tree line.
The Aufspier troopers open fire into the tree line as the commando is dragged into cover. Hearing the gunfire, more Rivetish begin to converge on the outpost.
The Kaptan yells at the hidden Imperials, “This forest will be your end, Imperial dogs. We know it better than you ever could!”
