To satisfy my curiosity, I've trawled through all Rejected Realms RMB posts from the last decade to collect data on each player's in-game contributions to The Rejected Realms. This is not affiliated with the Rejected Realms government, though I did use a script I programmed for their use. Credits to The pharcyde for the graphics used.

It's a set of stats for every nation who commented on the RMB in the last ten years. There's also lists of top 100s for certain stats (e.g. greatest likes on average). You can see your nation's stats at the bottom of the dispatch.
All in all, 15,781 nations have posted on TRR's RMB! Putting all their stats on NS required 52 dispatches.

Exactly. Originally when I saw that most of the top people were more recent joiners, I thought I had made a mistake. Especially because you'd think the post count and like count categories would be correlated with age (more time to post/like). Turns out it just happens to be the case that you guys post and like much more often. You'll note that the "Greatest Average Length" features older nations (all of whom are CTE). The top nation, Dissociative Identity Disorder, CTEd 9 years ago.

You primarily have to take into account how many of those older nations probably lived in an age of relative novelty for NS, hence the lack of posts/likes. They probably compensated for the inactivity by having longer posts. Or something.
Also, most nations don't look back or reminisce on the older posts. They take interest in the now, and more recent posts. Which is probably where the density of likes are located. The earliest posts have a high concentration (probably because they're the first post recorded in TRR), but everything between that post and modernity is probably lacking in like density.
That's my hypothesis and observation, at least.

It's not that NS was novel at the time. RMB posts only go back a decade or so (which is why I chose to measure a decade back), which is when NS started saving posts. TRR, however, has been around since the beginning. But it used to be very, very inactive.
