Establishing a Cabinet
With increasing problems and situation both on the domestic and international levels, President Bingum has called for the establishment of a Presidential Cabinet. "With many governments and nations throughout the world continuously failing to maintain their country's stability, it is only right that we establish this cabinet of experienced citizens to maintain our great nation" stated the President during a press conference. A vote in the Senate is expected within the next few days and with a President's majority in the Senate it is expected to pass.
Terror on the Capitol
The Nation of Foxilan witnessed a horrific terrorist attack this morning on the capitol building located in Hinojosa, Greece. The terrorist attack occurred during a meeting of 250 Senators debating the establishment of the cabinet and who should be in the 1st Official Cabinet.
The devastating event injured President Bingum, and 117 Senators while killing 103 Senators as well. The 30 Senators that left the meeting without injuries have called for a lock down of the capital city until the terrorists are captured. This has been the deadliest terrorist attack since the bombing of Bruckner Bridge only 13 years prior.
The President's current state doesn't not seem fatal but she has been rushed to a nearby hospital for evaluations.

Post Terrorist Attack
After the terrorist attack on the Foxilanian capitol, President Bingum decided to refrain from announcing her cabinet members until the following election. A large group of Senators have called for legislation on better staff vetting processes and Conservative Senate leaders have called for a complete overhaul on border security.
According to the President, "Foxilan will continue to cooperate with the other powers of the world to decrease treachery against all nations". The 2024 elections are expected to be the President's closest election since her first election for the 2115th Senatorial district.
