Fedele Fantoccini is seen walking in the woods with a PVC pipe and a drawstring backpack slung over his shoulder. He comes upon a eucalyptus tree. Looking up, he spots a koala.

"Hmmm..."

Fedele pulls a lighter from his pocket.

"This is your moment, Zippy."

He swings the backpack to his front from around his shoulder, reaches in, and removes a bottle rocket. He inserts the bottle rocket into the PVC pipe, lights the fuse, aims the PVC pipe at the koala, braces the bottom of the PVC pipe against the palm of his hand, and waits.

"I should have gotten a shorter fuse."

The fuse burns his hand severely as its long coil, resting on his palm, is consumed by the flame. He regards the searing pain as some proof of patriotism but also wishes he had considered that more thoroughly.

Fedele waits.

First, attacking one of my most trusted allies when diplomacy beyond "me want island" rampages was a possibility, now attacking a person who is defending Devlon.

Devlon may have did wrong, but Kampf did too. Zukchiva is beginning to doubt your stance on anti-imperialism.

I'm merely doing the same thing as yourself and assisting my allies, but you can label it what you want. I will do what I believe is necessary to ensure the security of myself and my allies.

I know you may not care but I may be inactive for an entire week somewhere between June and July

The Galactic Empire

The Galactic Empire, also known as the Old Empire, the First Galactic Empire, Palpatine's New Order, the Imperium or simply the Empire, is the galactic government established by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine to replace the Galactic Republic in 19 BBY and bring Sith rule to the galaxy.

The Republic, which had lasted for at least 25,034 years, ended following a period of intense political turmoil and the subsequent devastation of the Clone Wars. After the death of Count Dooku above Coruscant, the death of General Grievous on Utapau and finally the massacre of the leaders of the Confederacy of Independent Systems on Mustafar, Chancellor Palpatine (by then ruling with near-absolute power) began a purge of the Jedi Order, and then proclaimed himself Emperor of the galaxy and reorganized the Galactic Republic into "the first Galactic Empire" on the galactic capital, Coruscant.

Kampf just beat back Devlon and is now invading. The aggressive side is now on the defense. I think it's safe to say your help was definitely not needed in terms of your "ally's security".

I'm not sure what this is. You most likely are telling the truth, but this honestly is not reflecting well on you as a nation.

A long cry of frustration tears throuhg the conference Hall in the city of Taiho. a flock of birds alight from their branches, flying through the air in a panicked swarm.

Inside the elegant halls of the building, Koko paces nervously back and forth. Her long elegant tail sweeps a worried arc as she bites at her fingernail. To no one in particular, she suddenly spouts out; "You've got to be kidding me!"

Seeing a panicked housecleaner freeze, she smiles in a not particularly reassuring way. She executes aother circuit through the narrow hallway, muttering darkly to herself.

She wheels back on the staffer, still trying to make his way across the hall. "They want me to moderate a race based war! Me, a kitsune! Sure I'm not exactly a neko, but that's not the issue here!.."

Koko had been in this mood for two days now, since the announcement had been released. No amount of complaints could change their minds, now, at the day of the meeting, she was worried stiff. Finally, she's broken out of her loop by a military police officer.

"Madam, the representatives are here." The officer's bland statement seems to send Koko into a paroxysm. After a few seconds of angry mutterings, she turns towards the doors to the hall, puts on her best business face and steps through.

The hall is a relatively small affair, though grandly decorated. Koko stops a few feet in, watching each of the parties. After a second, she bows, her kitsune features clearly visible. "Thank you both for attending. Welcome to the conference. I am Koko Hakujo, your host. It is a pleasure to meet all of you." She rises with a tight, though somewhat friendly smile, and states simply; "I suppose it's time we begin."
