Because they are cringe und bluepilled and won't hire me ( i am the best )
There's also a limit to how much you can translate whilst still having it be accurate to the original.

They don't do literal translations at all and also in Japanese you as the listener are supposed to guess some things so the dubs are often (especially if done by funimation or another garbage studio) "over-translated"

True but one of hobbies is to listen to English dubs of French stuff and complain
There are too many examples of the English dub changing stuff due to cultural differences and words that would just sound weird in English like "l’ésprit d'escalier" smh
