Now you must be wondering, "Dust, that is literally an eye with a mouth and is said to be connected to a monster. How is it boring?"
I'm going to be honest, I thought the same. I believed that the eye would have a story. How it separated from the original, how it became sentient, the things it has seen, the oppression it must have suffered for not being the same size as other eyes.
But all it does is go "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUURRRRRRRRGGHHHauuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHH"
Sure, at first that's scary, but think about this, how long will a giant bleeding eye with a teethy mouth scare you? A minute? Maybe two? But after some time, the sluggish monster just gets boring, to the point that its not even required for progression.
Would you spend time with such a monster? Of course not.

ACKSHUALLY....

Superman isn't perfect. He's suffers the same amount of human emotions as anyone else.

Basically, he's just a friendly guy who also happens to have Superpowers.
