The angel of charity

"A divine being?" Toko Hakushia looks over the documents before him, a case file from the 122nd fleet. Their report had suggested that the islands of Tenkyoku held significant arcana. With the disappearance and then subsequent reappearance of Aoko Kobo, the curiosity of the newly created department of Arcana was piqued.

Toko puts down the paper, settling back in his chair. A tall, thin man with thin eyebrows and pale skin, he was an unsettling figure. He was in charge of the more dubious operations of the Imperial department of Arcana, and was not a man to be taken lightly. A neatly pressed suit covers his wiry frame, and he wears a set of thin glasses. Investigating this would be a dangerous affair, if the reports of Tenkyoku were true, however, there was one card that could be played in this case.

With a weary sigh, he picks up his phone, dialing in a number quickly. "Hello? Is this the Togahama shrine? I would like to speak with Holo... Yes, it is related to Arcana." He pauses for a second, awaiting the reply, then continues; "Hello Holo, we have need of your services. Would you mind meeting me at the office?.. What for? We're visiting somewhere... Tenkyoku." There is a beep, and then he puts down the phone.

Holo, a Divine being who was associated with Fortune. Out of the huge pantheon of Charitian Gods, she was one of the few who cooperated with Arcana. An enigmatic figure, who appeared to have accepted the task as a game instead of a sense of duty. She was a curious one, and in a country like Tenkyoku, certainly dangerous. However, she could locate divinity for certain, and for that she was useful indeed.

After a quick sip of his coffee, he opens up his computer, his face suddenly illuminated by its harsh glare. Clicking through the options, he prepares to write a message to the Tenkyokan government.

On the subject of Divinity:

The Charitian Empire would like to hold a visit with queen Aozora, regarding her divinity. Holo, goddess of Fortune, has expressed interest in meeting a foreign goddess, and given your relative closeness, Aozora seems a perfect choice. Assuming our request is granted, a Hatachi-13 helicopter will be sent in a week, with Holo, and a representative from the department of Arcana,

With a small smile, he presses send. This, if nothing else, should be interesting.
