I can propose you to watch first a movie called "Battle Angel - Alita" which is about floating cities ruled by an Artificial Intelligente called as Nova in the future (and where Nova becomes immortal by using human brains). The movie is also about the technology used in the last floating city on the planet. In that movie Nova won the Great War defeating the last human remnants of Mars Republics.
Yay, it's a film. Maybe. Or that could be a possible future... in real life. Guess what's next. Or continue to sleep, humans.
