Are we talking about the same Tulsi Gabbard who is a rabid supporter of Hinduvata?
The same Gabbard who supported the Hinduvata groups that lobbied against the replacement of "Indian" with "South Asian" in school textbooks cause "muh great Indian civilization will be erased if people keep using South Asian term".
Then again, I am sure she would have been quite a good candidate (combat veteran who opposes military intervention) but her links with Hinduvata groups and that dumb "India-South Asian" controversy was widely reported around here.
