Region: The Western Isles
That's the thing. We are a landlocked nation between two ever-rising nukes-wielding Asian giants with no navigable rivers and almost zero resources; not to mention being a very conservative place with a history of isolationism. In this modern day, we are destined to be either India's or China's bitch (more so India's because they surround us on three sides, have similar cultures and open border...)
I would be surprised if this country even exists by the time I am in my death bed. Which is why, I support this thing called MCC that will allow an outside party like the US to hopefully tip the balance of our neighbors (the only thing I don't like bout this is that Muricans affiliated with the program can do some crime and not be arrested or charged here). But people here are too dumb and protesting against the only way to reduce our dependence on India or China. "We will be another Syria/Iraq if the US is here..." keep saying that while Indian media labels us "2nd Pakistan" and Chinese see as nothing more than a stick to poke India with.
