As for winning people over, I mean long term, not just for 2020. That's going to happen, but only because of the push away from Trump, not because of any draw from Democrats. Those people will vote Republican in the midterms and 2024. The Democrats have a chance right now to reassert their moderate wing, and even bring back the "bluedog" conservatives. But instead they are doubling down on "socialism," abortion, and wokeness: all things that repel moderates and conservatives.
