Now that action has begun, destroyers of the Ola F2 were ordered by the admiral himself to move towards the coast. As they approach, they move ninety degrees angle for their weapons to face their targets. Those destroyers then fire high explosive 130mm shells against surface targets such as any vehicle they see, foxholes, machine gun nests and C-RAM units. Missiles fired from the Pro-Saddamists streak onto the air, two same jets that have launched cruise missiles have been downed by Surface-to-Air Missiles, the other three had electronic countermeasures, avoiding the fate given by the enemy. They are now targeting nearby power grids and radar stations.

Crusader-Islamist conflict.

After days of successful campaign against pro-Saddam forces, crusaders are now fighting a conflict what appeared to be a misunderstanding first with the Islamists. Gonzalo Navarro and his brigade of 'Serpie de la Cruz', caught in conflict, proceed to fight Islamist forces as well. Gonzalo is behind a dry rock, firing with his light machine gun, while one of his comrades are mounted on armored vehicles, yelling confirmation of enemy presence and positions.

OOC: Don't worry, mine was rushed as well.

Beach

Explosions tear through the sands dunes. Hundreds of Levantine soldiers who do not make it out of the way in time are blown to kingdom come. The Levantines quickly return fire. Scores of anti-ship missiles are launched from coastal installations against San Sierran destroyers.

The damage from the enemy bombardment is severe and with every passing moment the strength of the beach defenses wanes.

Wadi Abbas and Southern Desert Offensives

After months of fighting, the last pocket of government resistance in Saddamiya is eliminated- freeing up FLA units for a new offensive. Under the cover of the ongoing western bombing campaign, rebel forces push to the west and south.

Government forces are routed while trying to escape the disaster at Saddamiya. The destruction of several divisions ensures. Chaos spreads across Levantin as the tide of the war is decisively turned.

Panicked pro-Saddam refugees flee south, where the regime has more success. Fresh troops with plentiful supplies are able to halt FLA attacks in this area. Heavy losses are taken by both sides.

Crusader-Islamist Conflict

Caught off guard by the San Sierran crusaders, the Islamists pull back to their original positions. Mortar and artillery fire is aimed at Christian forces behind the rocks in an effort to dislodge them.

In other parts of Hayk Province, Islamist efforts to wrest control of the region form the LCF are met with fierce resistance. For the time being, it appears that Christian Levantin is here to stay.

OOC: I kinda just want this war to be over with, but at the same time I want to give the Saddam regime a glorious final stand.
