Democracy is a joke in the sense of it being an illegitimate and completely unattainable power structure in its purest form, but that doesn't mean that some concepts associated with democracy, such as voting, are completely useless in advancing the cause. Fascists always have the opportunity of spreading propaganda, swaying the popular vote, and gaining electoral ground during campaign seasons and election cycles. We don't need to shy away from engaging opponents within democratic atmospheres just because we believe the system to be illegitimate, it gives us all the more reason to do so. What matters is that our opponents accept the deceptive foundations of democratic governance; and for us to beat them at their own game, in order to found a new, unifying system of governance.
