As she is in the UK Leutria assumed the asylum is worried she will do herself harm and want to keep her safe until they can monitor her and get her condition “under control”. Saldagon checked the Mental Health act (which covers detentions for these matters) and it appears that she might’ve had trouble with the health assessments that families can ask for. She can either be detained for 28 days or a renewable 6 month period. Luckily it should be only 28 days, Section 3 (the six month period) is only for dire emergencies he thinks. The six month period usually gets renewed for a lot of people, but he doesn’t think that will be the case. If she fails the assessment though section 2 (admission for assessment and lasts 28 days which sounds like her situation) can be renewed or upgraded to a section 3 (admission for treatment which is the renewable 6 months) Sal says the situation will be fine, Britain has an extensive and somewhat confusing system for this and it will most likely won’t be a long term issue. (Kamilistan is in Malaysia and she is in UK, a long distance relationship). 3/12/21 9:30 AM UK time she will be tested. If she fails she might not have a chance to be online anymore. She has been tested previously and the results weren’t good. Sadly, it will most likely be a section 3 (6 month) matter then.

So yes, a mental asylum but it is good because she will get getting the help she needs.
