History lesson, because I like talking about regional history: Electoral Confirmation was introduced for the Second Session of the 2nd Council of the Republic (as in, for the August 2019 nominations). Originally, the sitting Council would confirm the incoming session or Council of delegates. However, when Nexus came back from his Minecraft-initiated departure, he became very... upstart about the whole government, claiming that among other things people were my cronies and that it was intensely corrupt for delegates to vote on their own confirmation, since there wasn't a whole lot of variation between Councils other than people joining here and there.

Nexus got banned, and around the time (might have been before, might have been after, idk) he got banned, Icaris brought it up in a less, uh, politically extremist way, and included actual solution suggests, and we figured it was pretty harmless to implement. Ever since, the public has confirmed every Council with 100% of the vote (who would've thought... it's not like everyone needs at least 3 supporters and that you can contest an unpopular nomination in the nominations phase...)
