you are right about that but religion is not the only pillar that sustains humanity or country, there are 5 pillars that are: religion, greed, feelings, persuasion and ingratiation each of these pillars support us in some way whether religion in us making us believe that there is something more or the feelings that make us are not empty shells that only have the purpose of eating, sleeping and reproducing.

Well although I may be Christian I have a lot of criticism for religion ranging from wars to economic issues.
