The Wessex Herald

Moments ago the Wessex Aviation Authority issued a vague announcement stating that "a currently unverified Royal Jet has seemingly crashed somewhere off the coast of the Netherlands". In it, they expressed caution and that they were yet to establish the facts, and that were currently attempting to contact the collection of Royal Private Jets returning from the Commonwealth following Prince Williams State Visit. The Duke of Normany is yet to arrive at London Heathrow following a later-than-scheduled departure from Poland.

The Prince-Regent did offer words of support for the WAA and that he "hopes and prays for a swift and happy resolution to this matter", while members of Government have so far said nothing of worthy note.

In other news, Princess Alexandra has finally been cleared to leave hospital following the birth of her first-child: she's expected to leave in the next 24 hours or so.
