ARMED FORCES GENERAL COMMAND: 1ST BORNEAN ARMY STUMBLES UPON AND ELIMINATES LAST TERRORIST BASE IN INDONESIA, OFFICIALLY ENDING LARGE-SCALE TERRORISM IN INDONESIA

_{In early February 2023, after months of normal life in Indonesia following the lifting of lockdowns, a detachment of the 1st Bornean Army, while driving along a jungle dirt road towards a DIY firing range, hit what seemed to be a mine hidden in the dirt. After careful investigation, it was discovered the mine was laid fairly recently and was of the same design as Middle Eastern self-made terrorist mines. The mine blew after a military motorcycle driving at the front of the convoy triggered it on contact, but the two troops on board flew almost 50 meters into the air and landed in a tree, preventing any major injuries. The incident was reported to the 1st Bornean Army Command at the Borneo Space Center, and the battle-hardened 21st Special Division was mobilized to the rumored terrorist site. Two days later, shortly after midnight, a Kopassus special forces company located the terrorist site and eliminated AT guns and numerous patrols. At 1:14 AM, 5 Harimau tanks opened fire on the site, stunning the terrorists. Infantry and a SWAT company from Denpasar who were training with the Army breached the building and killed all terrorists inside. Almost 500 AK-47's were found, as well as several modified Toyota trucks with 30mm automatic guns on the back. The main terrorist leader was captured and executed by firing squad on the spot. The Prime Minister announced a few hours later 'First, the pandemic began falling. Now, terrorism is falling. We wish that Korea will also see the same as us soon, for to the government's belief, terrorism has been eradicated'.}

As the government of Myanmar had slowly been freed from the grasp of the Tatmadaw the civil rights situation of Myanmar had never been better, the civilian government was able to do this under the protection of the IPDC but there still were problems, increasing civil rights had made the civilian population in the separatist states become much bolder than the Myanma government expected, the same for the insurgents many of whom were supplied by Bangladesh, the Arakan army received ammunition, arms and body armour under the conditions that the Arakan army and the smaller Arakan Rohingya salvation army (ARSA) not attack each other but instead fight against the Tatmadaw together, the Arakan Rohingya salvation army had grown in size over the past few years from around 600 in 2016 to 900 in 2023 as for the emboldened civilians, the richer Rohingya populace of Bangladesh who escaped from Myanmar did what they can by staging a peaceful protest near the embassy of Myanmar in February 2022, the civilian populace of the Rakhine state finally filter against the government in March 2022 at the streets of Sittwe, the capital of Rakhine state were more than 150 thousand people live, the Sittwe riots continued into May where the military was sent in, the suppression raised a lot of eyebrows from the government of Bangladesh and the IPDC, the government of Bangladesh began to pressure the Myanma government for a referendum and to stop the escalating violence a referendum was held on October in the Maungdaw, Mrauk-U, Sittwe, and Kyaukphu districts also the Paletwa township voted to join Bangladesh, the area historically has always been much more culturally close to Bangladesh, the north Arakan Muslim league in Akyab (known as Sittwe today) went as far as to request the founder of Pakistan and then-governor general Muhammad Ali Jinnah for an annexation but Jinnah refused as he could not meddle in the internal affairs of Burma, the Muslims in Burma had resorted to militancy and have been fighting until now, an overwhelming 75.83% have voted to join Bangladesh.

THE RESULTS OF THE REFERENDUM:

Option 1 — join Bangladesh:

1,834,765 / 75.83%

Option 2 — stay in the union of Myanmar:

584,790 / 24.17%

The newly gained 34,125 square kilometers of territory gained will be formed into the 9th division of Bangladesh, the new Arakan division with the current districts staying the same but the townships being turned to Upazilas, 10,000 soldiers from the 69th and 65th infantry brigades of the 24th infantry division from the Bandarban and Kaptai cantonment will be sent in to bring in much needed law and order, they will be backed up by 1,000 soldiers of the Chattogram reserve battalion of the border guards Bangladesh (BGB) they are to be commanded by Major-General Mohammad Saiful Abedin, it is reported that around 2,700 insurgents mainly from the Arakan army have given up their arms, the government of Bangladesh will be pardoning them and helping the former insurgents return to civilian life but even then the Counter Terrorism and Intelligence Bureau (CTIB) branch of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI) will continue their surveillance on the people who laid down their arms.

As for development of the region, the construction of the new Sittwe seaport will be sped up through an increase of workers and a larger budget, the minimum wage in the Arakan division shall be increased to 10,000 Bangladeshi Taka per month which is about 100 Euros and the Rohingya populace who are still in the less crowded refugee camps thanks to the Ashrayan-3 will now be given the option to go back to the Arakan division.

INDONESIA PURCHASES 15 T-14 ARMATA HEAVY MAIN BATTLE TANKS FROM THE SGRI FOR $50,000,000, DELIVERY EXPECTED BY SUMMER 2023

_{Following a series of formal diplomatic exchanges, Indonesia and the SGRI have agreed to a purchase of 15 Russian T-14 Armata heavy main battle tanks for the Indonesian military. The purchase came included with tank ammunition, and if supply ever runs out, ammunition will be produced by Indonesia's new joint SGRI military weapons factories. The T-14 Armata's are expected to arrive by Summer 2023 and will serve a similar purpose to the Leopard 2A4 fleet: Large scale military operations.}

I am confident that with the Christians returning to their homelands, the Kurds would be somewhat relieved as that eases pressure on finite resources in the North and I am confident the same would be the case for the Sunnis and Shias."
