PRESIDENT XI JINPING RESPONDS TO DEVELOPMENTS IN GREECE CONCERNING THE PORT OF PIRAEUS

      | In the late 2000s, the Chinese Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO) leased 2 docks from the Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) and steadily achieved majority ownership of the port as the economic performance of the port increased astronomically. This has led to the port being the largest in Greece and the 7th largest in Europe. Out of all the Chinese investments being made around the world, Piraeus is perhaps the most important, as it is a gateway for Chinese goods entering the European Union. 600 Million Euros were invested into the port in 2016 alone. News of the Greek court ruling deeply worried and angered Chinese officials, including Xi Jinping, who has hailed the port as an example of the excellence that can be achieved through cooperation between nations. He spoke in Beijing...|

        | PRESIDENT XI JINPING | "It is with great disappointment that I received the news of this court ruling. Piraeus stands with the potential of connecting East & West in a manner never before seen in history. For this to be achieved, cooperation is necessary. This is not merely a Chinese policy, it is a policy that all nations must follow in the global struggle for prosperity. The Greek regime has shown their European allies that they are not willing to take part. Now, they have shown China a similar disrespect. It is like a spit to the face, after we have done so much to develop positive interactions between our ancient cultures. China is always willing to negotiate and adapt to the changing world. Piraeus is a success because of investments and cooperation. Piraeus will continue to prosper because of those reasons. We reject the ruling of the Greek courts, and firmly demand that a reconsideration be made with the importance of China's presence in mind. It cannot be understated that our top priority is the further development and enrichment of all parties involved. The government of Greece must be prepared to discuss favorable terms, just as we are prepared. If this issue is not resolved, the economic ramifications will resonate in Greece for many years to come."

      | Before any large scale responses could be made from the government, Chinese netizens were already waging a cyber-war against Greece for disrespecting the treaty for the port. Hashtags like #GoodbyeGreece have been exploding on Chinese social media. Users have been posting the confirmations of their cancelled trips to Greece, a shockwave which is certain to already hurt the tourist economy in Greece as hundreds of thousands of Chinese tourists visit Greece annually. |

2 hours after the Algiers attacks

It was dark in the regime's fortified compound as Ahmadi had been blindfolded for security purposes, he couldnt see a single thing. His footsteps would resonate and echo as he walked in a maze of long hallways, flanked by two soldiers. He had been brought to Tripoli in the utmost secrecy by the regime. The leader of Al Tullab, the group that had caused so many headaches to the Gaddafi clan now stood in the HQ of the same regime he swore to destroy. After Walking through numerous hallways. he would be ordered to sit down in a chair and his blindfold would be removed. He was sitting on the other side of Ayesha Gaddafi's desk in her office. The desk was flanked by two Jamahirian flags. The office would be luxuriously decorated with a chandelier on the celling Ayesha would look at him with a smile wearing a black military uniform and beret. She was clean and well dressed. Ahmadi, on the other hand, was dirty. His beard was long and messy.
He would be wearing black robes and a black turban. Ayesha would look at him with an evil smile and say, I pitty you old man. She had brought him here for a simple reason. She did not wish to loose men in a fight against an insurgency. Besides, Ahmadi was a former general and the attacks on Algiers provided a golden oportunity to destabilize Algeria. Ayesha would give Ahmadi a firm handshake before begining to speak in arabic:

Ayesha Gaddafi: Welcome, General, I assume you are wondering why I brought you here

Ahmadi would chuckle

Ahmadi: General, The last one to call me that was your stupid father. I ll tell you now, nothing you can offer me will make me give up, you crazy witch. I will not give up my jihad against your cursed regime. I have my beliefs and they are against everything you stand for.

Ayesha would smile

Ayesha Gaddafi: I think you understood me wrong here, I fully respect your beliefs, you have the right to be religious. I only wish for the government to remain separate from religion Do you really think I want to fight against a bloody insurgency in southern Libya... That would be counterproductive. You see, I think we both are very similar, we both hate MECO and the west. All I ask is that you respect my secular rule and you could be pardonned. Maybe even reintegrate the Army. if... of course... you agree to help me first

Ahmadi would look at Ayesha, Hesitant

Ahmadi: Well, it is true that I am quite tired of being on the run, what do you need exactly.

Ayesha Gaddafi: Well you see, I wish to create a unified arab state in north africa and make the UAJ a regional power, I dont like sharing. I am fine with the egyptians because they are fellow socialists, but Algeria isnt. I will agree to a peace deal were your fighters will retreat into chad. Your fighters will then regroup in Niger and cross into algeria. I will fund your movement so that you can wage a guerilla war against the algerians and cause attacks in other MECO countries. Once Meco is weakened enough the organisation will surely collapse, and Russia, seing the weakness of meco shall surely put its faith into Libya

Ahmadi would smile and give her a handshake

Ahmadi: Alright, I will help you

FOLLOWING THIS MEETING, THE PEACE DEAL WAS ANNOUNCED TO THE WORLD AND THE LIBYAN BRANCH OF AL TULLAB WAS CLAIMED TO BE DISBANDED, AHMADI WAS REINTEGRATED INTO THE ARMY AND A FEW DAYS LATER, AL TULLAB SYMPATISERS IN ALGERIA FORMED THEIR OWN BRANCH. IT WAS CLAIMED TO BE INDEPENDANT FROM THE FORMER LIBYAN BRANCH AND WAS CONDEMNED BY LIBYA. IN FACT, THE 10 000 LIBYAN FIGHTERS HAD JOINED UP WITH THE ALGERIAN BRANCH AND RECEIVED ARMS, FUNDING AND TRAINING FROM LIBYA

Brief Statement From the Algerian Government
Undisclosed Location
"This so called peace deal between Al Talub and Lybia is more false and untrustworthy than the leadership of Ayesha Gaddafi. Are southern borders will be monitoring for any increased activity from Lybia and our inteligence services will be investigating Lybia for any involvement from today's horrendous attacks on Algiers. The Government thanks MECO, Russia, and other world nations pledging aid. A national address will be held at an undisclosed time and location in the coming days. That is all, thabk you."

PRODUCT EXCHANGES, PETROV'S CZECHOSLOVAKIA BECOMES PRIME EXAMPLE OF NON-MONETARY TRADING

DECEMBER 2017

https://youtu.be/Y8bvmyzmsyg?t=7

With Czechoslovakia struggling to maintain its hard currency balance, President Petrov has become the face of the Goods Exchange with foreign powers, as he has gone on a Campaign of searching the world for new partners that would be willing to be paid in goods rather than currency. His Campaign has brought him to three different Continents around the world and wherever he went success was guaranteed. His main goal was finding alternative payment methods for two of the largest "no-alternative imports", those being Coffee and Bananas. While considered luxuries, they are items that many Citizens believe they simply could not live without, and attempts at creating local alternatives were received with backlash and outrage as many believe the imitation products are not nearly as good as the original. Powdered Coffee with plant extracts was considered lower quality in both feeling and taste, and Banana flavoured products were said to taste much too artificial to be accepted by the general public. Czechoslovakia spent a total of 273 Mln USD last year on importing Coffee alone, adding to that a further 129 Mln USD for imported Bananas and you have just about 400 Mln USD per anum from the National budget spent on importing these two items alone. Saving such a huge sum of money would mean that the Nation could import other types of goods such as higher quality Machinery which would allow faster and more stable Economic growth for the future.

This was precisely the strategy that East Germany used during the Coffee crisis in the 70s, exporting Machinery to Cuba and Vietnam in exchange for Coffee which was received with great enthusiasm. But who would the partners for the new Czechoslovak model be?

LA PLATA - COFFEE

Attempts by Petrov to secure a product for product exchange was not possible due to La Plata's lack of a Command Economy and thus producers would have required monetary payments. A secondary option was explored and ultimately accepted however. 8,000 Czechoslovak Volunteers from the CLA (Communist Labourer assotiation, consisting of convinced communists wanting to help their Nation through labour) would be employed within La Plata in various positions (and organisation within La Plata would assign workers where and as needed). They would work at reduced rates compared to their native counterparts, with part of their wage being taken and put into a "Coffee Fund" which would be used to purchase Coffee beans from Paraguayan producers for export on Czechoslovak Freighters back to the homeland. As a result Coffee can be received without spending a single dollar, therefore mission accomplished.

CHINA - BANANAS

China, while perhaps not the most Communist Power anymore was still looked upon by Petrov as a "Brother Country" and thus he believed it was at the very least worth visiting to test the waters and see how the Chinese would feel towards a Product Exchange. The answer was received rather quickly in the affirmative, China would accept a Product Exchange, and was in fact very enthusiastic about it. Czechoslovakia would export consumer goods (Fridges, Microwaves, Ovens etc.), raw materials and Skoda Vehicles to China and in exchange shipments of Bananas would commence on a regular basis. Thus a regular and stable supply of the fruit had been secured, and not a single dollar spent while doing so.

GALLA - COFFEE

The Galla was from the beginning very supportive of the idea of a Product Exchange program, as it too was eagre to reduce spending of hard currency where possible. While Czechoslovakia would export Military Goods (In the form of Helmets, Munitions and Weaponry) Vehicles & Machinery to the Galla, Coffee would be sent back to the Home country in exchange. This would further serve to support and grow the Military Industry at home, which in peacetime would usually be forced to reduce production, instead they would produce for export and fulfil the needs of their Gallan Comrades.

BRAZIL - TEA

Brazil agreed to allow exports of Tea Leaves to occur free of cost in exchange for shipments of Tatra Trucks and other Vehicles which would assist them in further developing their northeastern Provinces. Tea is still a large consumption item in Czechoslovakia, accounting for around 81 Mln USD per year, not as much as Coffee yet still a large item which now can be imported at no hard currency cost.

-----

Comrade Petrov went across the world to secure the future wellbeing of his People, the entire ordeal being televised at home. Each time he would land in one of the target Nations in his Uniform, embracing his counterpart as a Comrade, Czechoslovak Film crews would document it to show the Citizens at home how much effort their Great Leader was expending just to provide them not just with the food they needed to survive, but the luxuries they need to feel fulfilled and happy. As a result of his efforts, hard currency was saved which could now be spent on long term products which would give dividends as time goes by. Czechoslovakia was perhaps the only Communist state enduring in Europe, but as Petrov was so eager to show his people, it would not sink quietly into the night![/i]

OPERATION NEVSKY: RUSSIAN AIR FORCE OPERATIONS BEGIN IN LIBYA
MISSION: Targeting & Disruption of Al-Tullab Infrastructure & Positions in Southern Libya
COMMANDING OFFICER: Lieutenant-Colonel Anatoly Vyacheslavovich Lebed
BASE: SGRI Sergey Sobyanin Military Facility, Tripoli, Libya
Date: January 14, 2018
Time: 1356

The recent terrorist attacks in Moroavia served as a reality check for SGRI defense and geopolitical analysts that Al-Tullab has resurfaced from the underground. The silence of Al-Tullab over the past few months was hailed as a good indication that the radical Islamic movement was subdued and minimized in their capabilities. However, the shock-and-awe operations in Algiers, Algeria, a strategic ally to the SGRI, called for an emergency meeting to take place at the SGRI Defense Management Center in Moscow to determine the next course of action. Unlike previous meetings, which the Prime Minister tends to oversee, the Tsar came into town from St. Petersburg to reside over the meeting with the entirety of the Defense General Staff. The arrival of the Tsar was indicative that this would be a prolonged operation and that the SGRI had something to prove...a lesson to teach to islamic jihadists and those who target the innocent, especially the innocence of SGRI strategic partners around the world.

The entering of the Tsar was met with a standing at attention as Tsar Putin walked straight to his throne-like armchair that would directly face the rows of military officers and officials from the Ministry of Defense. As the massive televisions turned on that were connected to GLONASS, the Tsar would get situated in his seat as the main commanders of the individual branches of the SGRI Defense Force would take their seats to the left and right of Putin. As the rest of the officers sat in their assigned seats, the smaller screens in front of them along with the larger screens around Putin on the wall behind him and in front of him would tune onto Yangzhao. As he began the debrief, Tsar Putin would call the SGRI military facility in Tripoli via a private, secured connection to speak with commanding officer Lieutenant-Colonel Anatoly Lebed to gain more awareness of the situation and environment in Libya. As more intelligence reports on the severity of the terrorist attack in Moroavia continued to pour into the SGRI, Tsar Vladimir Putin did not want to wait for more casualty reports to spark a massive retaliation. Tsar Vladimir Putin wanted to give a stark reminder and warning to Al-Tullab that their actions and existence will not be tolerated; however, this also proved an amazing opportunity for the SGRI to test out their new capabilities via modernized C4ISR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance) systems.

Currently at the SGRI military facility in Libya, 4 x Sukhoi Su-27, 2 x Tupolev Tu-160, 4 x Yakovlev Yak-130, 2 x Sukhoi Su-30, 2 x Sukhoi Su-34, and 2 x Sukhoi Su-35S were stationed as they received their activation and operational orders. The intention was clear: track down Al-Tullab positions in Southern Yangzhao and completely annihilate supply lines, storages, and infrastructure used by Al-Tullab. Said operations were designated to be heavily dependent on GLONASS surveillance satellites to provide satellite imagery intelligence and geospatial intelligence for the conducting and success of aerial operations to minimize civilian casualties but to maximize destruction against Al-Tullab. By the direction of the Tsar, 4 x Sukhoi Su-27 and 2 x Sukhoi Su-35S were deployed from Tripoli and made their way to Southern Libya for aerial reconnaissance missions while being fully armed with air-to-surface missiles and guided bombs. It would not be a full hour until GLONASS picked up on high mobility between the Libyan villages of Alawenat and Ghat toward the border of southeastern Moroavia. Receiving the coordinates, the 6 SGRI aircraft would be on course to Southwestern Libya. As the aircraft were en route, GLONASS and SGRI intelligence would confirm the presence of five technical vehicles and approximately 20 Al-Tullab soldiers. Appearing as black dots flying across the sky, the aircraft would remain in constant communication with Lieutenant Colonel Anatoly Lebed as well as the Tsar, who was back in Moscow. As the 2 x Sukhoi Su-35S would be escorted by the 4 x Su-27s, the location of the group of Al-Tullab militants became clearer at an abandoned building. Not knowing what the building was going to be used for, the SGRI did not want to take any chances and authorized the deployment of 3 × KAB-1500L laser-guided bombs to be dropped directly on the Al-Tullab positions. Aligning with perfect coordination, the order to deploy the laser-guided bombs with high-explosive warheads were given. Continuing on course after the deployment of the bombs, GLONASS satellites would remain fixated on the Al-Tullab positions until three flashes appeared on satellite imagery of a successful targeting of the Al-Tullab position. The clear fireballs on the screens back at the SGRI Defense Management Center was welcomed with large applause while the Tsar remained fixated on his screens observing the destruction. Seeing burning vehicles and a destroyed potential warehouse used for logistics, some Al-Tullab militants would surface that were not in the building. Attempting to scatter, the 4 x Su-27s would turn around and begin targeted, coordinated targeting of the Al-Tullab militants using their 1 × 30 mm Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-30-1 autocannon with 150 rounds and S-25OFM-PU air-to-ground rockets. Not knowing what Al-Tullab could potentially have, the Tsar would call off the pursuit and order for the aircraft to return back to Tripoli.
