St Scarlett wrote:Don’t forget to show Volle some love

Volle

Born in Helligby, a small Norwegian speaking town in West St Scarlett, Volle experienced a difficult childhood with the loss of his father and oppressive anti-male laws under the Matriarchal government, despite this he has made his career all about spreading love and positivity to all and has become the most successful male artist in the country.

Volle's songs usually fall under the acoustic singer-songwriter genre, they tend to be soothing and sincere and always tell a heartfelt story about life. The artist writes and composes all his own music and is cautious when it comes to signing on to record labels as he believes music should always come from the heart and should never be about making a profit or topping the charts.

Despite his humble attitude Volle has consistently topped St Scarlett's charts, with his Eurovision entry Higher placing number one just hours after it was revealed to the world. His other hits include 'Violets', 'Misty Morning' and 'From the Heart' all of which reached number one on the charts in St Scarlett and also reached the top 10 internationally in the UK, US, Australian, Canadian, New Zealand, Irish, Dutch, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish charts.

As a result of his success Volle has quickly gathered a fanbase who love not only his music, but his honesty and his down to earth persona, as well as all the humanitarian work he does for organisations like Amnesty International, of which he is a member.

Lyrics of Higher

When I was young I thought life was an easy thing
I wasn't prepared for how much it could sting
When he was gone, everything changed for the worse

The light from my life was gone, nothing but shadows all around
All I could think of was him down deep in the ground
But there she was

Lifting me higher
So much higher
Every day
My mother's words still echo in my mind
Please don't worry child
Please don't give up
Focus on everything that lifts you higher

All around me the world began to fall apart
My friendships ended before they could even start
I felt so alone every day that passed

And at school my grades began to slip
My reputation as a good student began to flip
But there she was

Lifting me higher
So much higher
Every day
My mother's words still echo in my mind
Please don't worry child
Please don't give up
Focus on everything that lifts you higher

Higher
Lift me higher
Lift me higher
Ohhh
So much higher
Lift me higher
She lifts me so much higher
Higher

I know I'm not the only one who faces struggles every day
We all experience our own hardships in our different ways
You're not alone

But happiness is all we need to make the world brighter
Our greatest values will make the whole world lighter
Love and joy are always there

Lifting us higher
So much higher
Every day
My mother's words should echo in your mind
Please don't worry child
Please don't give up
Focus on everything that lifts you higher

Please don't worry child
Please don't give up
Focus on everything that lifts you higher

Nothing against the organisers, but clearly some vote rigging is occurring ;)

Definitely. I have absolutely no idea how I didn't make it to the next stage, but some nations got there that didn't even try hard enough on their dispatches, or don't have any at all.

Or is it just me who gave more votes to the nations that worked best on their dispatches?

Gotta Throw this out here
Honestly surprised I made it to the finals
I didn't see my name for a sec though so I thought I got out :P

So, competators voted each others, right? Well, in real life, singers didn't vote each other but voted by people. However in Nationstates? Maybe it turned out that kind of intriguing TV competition, without direct intention to gain ratings like you would do in a TV channel.

Maybe we should change the voting system and elect jury, what do you think folks?

Edit: Changed few typos.

The best motto of all time-

The motto of Political Apathy-

"Whatever."

Quite surprising to know that I don't know what to know knowingly knowing who to vote without knowing know how knowingly it is to know know who.
Tongue rollin off knowingly

One-sixth of 12

It is divisible to 8, don't worry.

That is correct, because 12 points reserved for Einswenn :P Vote Einswenn, 12 points to Einswenn

QUESTION OF THE RMB:
How many people can you find who haven't voted in EuroVision?
