On Tuesday, June 14 (right one day after I had written about the disappearance of our Chancellor) Volksleben would return to KR, signifying this by saying in the Imperial Discord a couple of the unprintable sentences about how his internet was absolutely horrible. This was met with celebration from those online at the time; mainly New hansa, Great romania1, and the Soviet Federation of Eurasia (a diplomat from The Rejected Onionists) with more joining in later on. In typical Volks fashion, it was about an hour after his return for him to continue to talk about politics. Volksleben's work ethic started from kicking back into the halls of the Reichstag and, after Archduke New Hansa stepped down from the position of Emergency Minister of the Interior, he quickly started returning to work on the unfinished projects.
In any case we are all extremely happy to have Volks back with us, and I would like to thank all who gave words of kindness to us when Volksleben was temporarily gone.

11th June has been marked as a significant date in the history of Wintercrest, a friend and dear soul to the region of KAISERREICH. On this day, the government of Wintercrest declared the end to the hibernation policy and proceeded to the forced revitalization of the region.
Just to remind those who don't remember or don't know what the place Wintercrest is - the People's Constitutional Republic of Wintercrest is the solid leftist people's democratic region, based on the commonly respected ideals of equality, liberty, and solidarity. This region was a member of the NSLeft before its hibernation, and it was the only significant leftist region to not see the Empire of KAISERREICH as a "pathetic, toxic, fascist [REDACTED]" and was the first of them to establish the official relations with us.
This is why we greatly value and strongly love our comrades from Wintercrest, this is why we reacted to the news of their revitalization with the known portion of pure happiness for our friends.
As the long-time Kaiserreicher diplomat in Wintercrest comrade Volksleben states, the region of Wintercrest currently can be described as an active and creative community, quickly and relentlessly growing in numbers of constant members - what is especially noticeable on the background of the NS Summer Population Fall in other regions.
Also, their region continues to struggle for keeping the inherited diplomatic ties not without a success, getting a lot of new contacts and finding new allies during this process as well - such as the Odryan Republic.
We can say without any doubt that the future seems bright for our Wintercrestian comrades.

During the recent years, one could observe a real boom in the emergence, formation, and rapid development of the people's democratic thought - many regions often choose their own path not purely ideological, but inclusive and pan-regional, involving tolerance for many points of view that do not violate the principles of democracy and tolerance, also proclaiming the main value of its population as such. This approach, of course, did not appear from scratch - the actual basis of regionomics - the economics of NationStates - is the regional population. And just as the need to consume creates the need to produce, the need for the survival and prosperity of a region creates the need to attract population.
Of course, such a tolerant approach is one of the ways to get more nations in the regions. This can explain the complete spread of pan-leftist ideas among seemingly ideologically isolated a priori communist and socialist regions, the general tolerance of republican ideas in monarchist regions, the general transformation of the conservative regions into such also housing right-wing liberals, etc.
Such diversification is a natural process, but not everybody drives a lot of attention to this fact and the aforementioned happenings. Such things usually are ignored by the philistine population and only the easily-agitated folk expresses their high interest in it. Like, so what? they say.
And here is what - from these facts a simple truth, a simple statement can be formed: that the diversification of a region is not only the natural - and therefore is a historically inevitable process - but also is a sign of the possibility of development and maturity of a region, sign of its civilization, sign of its preparedness for the safe state-building and cultural creation in the future.
So here comes a real question - can our Empire be called civilized? Can our Empire be called the people's democratic region?
It not only can be called so, but it also has every right to be viewed as a region fully deserving to bear this title proudly. With the defeat of the intolerant liberals from Montealba and the victory of the Scanist thought in our Empire, the people's democratic processes fully absorbed everything in the political field of it, giving in to the forces of progress.
With the currently ongoing democratization efforts and the rapidly developing self-criticism, our People's State surely shall develop freely and with a large pace, spreading the word of the People's Democratic ideology and its Scanist revolutionary form all over the NationStates.

As everybody knows, our region is currently liberated by the WA resolution SC#245, for the reasons of accepting the fascist ideologies and allowing the hate speech within our halls.
Recently, our Empire has intensified the un-liberation efforts, hoping that by directly contacting the highly respected diplomatic specialists from the Pacifics, such as Xoriet, we shall accelerate the processes.
For, as we all know, the government of The Communist Bloc and other anti-Kaiserreicher forces have distributed a large number of the materials denigrating our region and making it look fascist to the most even today. Our diplomats and officials are regarded as hidden nazis and our population was loathingly called "wehraboos" and "fascists" by certain people.
Also, all the previous attempts of the foreign un-liberation by the higher officials, having large influence in the World Assembly, were quickly curtailed by these efficient and highly professional anti-fascists. One of the most recent attempts of un-liberation was quickly disintegrated into useless memories partly by Xoriet themselves, who were (most probably unknowingly) translating the propagandistic mantra of "they didn't change and they never will", which we here got so used to already.
We confronted exactly this problem when we directly contacted Xoriet and asked questions on the possible audit of the Empire. We were highly disappointed by the fact that this exact audit shall not happen - for they simply cannot trust us and cannot believe the fact that all the development of the history right after the Great Grief preserves further.
Instead of embracing the outrage and declaring ourselves a separate universe - just as any of the liberals we've exiled would do - we started thinking instead. The main conquest of the Scanist revolution, the principle of self-criticism, has helped us a lot. We started thinking: why do we suffer from the fake accusations of fascism and hatred if all these accusations would be more coherent if directed at those who were doing it - the Monties?
Then we understood: while we weren't doing these crimes ourselves, we allowed such crimes to happen right in our sight, for political reasons. We tolerated hate speech coming from these liberals and did objectively nothing, fearing losing half of the region. And, in the end, we still lost it when we finally tried to combat these disgraceful expressions. Trying to postpone the catastrophe and avoid dishonor, we received both in a response from the unmerciful, but quite humorous Fate.
After this, we have concluded: that we must continue working on ourselves, we must make the progressive principle and allocate all our resources available to prevent something similar from happening. Any hate speech nor other unprintable forms of expression must not be just prohibited - they must become unthinkable to use for our population.
Yes, we currently are ready for the un-liberation. At least after all these trials. And the upcoming constitutional and democratization reforms shall become only the final nails to the coffin, in which we've buried the shady ghost of our past. But we also must understand that right now the people of NationStates, the elites of NationStates, aren't ready to trust us right now.
We must give them some time. Some time, during which we also could strengthen the civilization within the region. During which we could enlarge our contacts net, calling more people on our side. During which we could develop a civil society, able to fight degeneracy autonomously. During which the part of the old government could express the words of apology before the population right before the new parliamentarian elections.
We must give them some time to know and see us better, during which we must not go away from the course, pointed for us by the Eternal People and the Kaiser.

Right now we can talk about the total rebuilding of the Empire of KAISERREICH to its very core, to its founding principles. Just as how life constantly moves and cannot tolerate the weak - the reactionary people and obsolete formations unable to catch the pace of progress - there arises the need for deep reforms of the Imperial System.
As any foreign observer could already notice, the Empire, initially founded around the principles of German feudalism and aristocracy, is slowly being rebuilt into a syncretic constitutional monarchy, combining the ideas of monarchism and late Soviet republicanism for the sake of further agitation and modernization of the region.
Dialectically speaking, in this syncretic model the Kaiserreicher society found the direction of its further development, such negation of the old, which would be enough for the Aufhebung of the present contradictions.
Symbolically speaking, the Kaiserreicher society matured enough to demand more, to crack the egg of the old, elitist quasi-meritocratic principles and start building on it its welfare, based on a more egalitarian basis.
Historically speaking, the long-time instability of the Kaiserreich and anarchy is soon to cease and give in to the civilization, soon to be replaced not by the imposed religion-like general homogeneity, but by the voluntarily endorsed tranquility. By the Scanist syncretic model of the co-existence and progressive tolerance of the ideas, thoughts, and approaches, forming the solid basis for the developed people's democracy.
All the reforms, previously done and currently planned, as well as those which shall be laid in the future, are the part of a large artistic mosaic, completing the full image of the Empire of KAISERREICH as the home of its Eternal People and as the place totally devoted to the interregionalist workers' solidarity and the reign of honest and free labor. The Scanist thought currently takes hold and surely shall remain in every soul joining the Imperial Cause no matter how each of these souls treats the ideas of monarchy, socialism, and their synthesis - for just by the accepting the current development of events, everybody accepts the current line of the Empire and the Wise Kaiser.
Just by accepting the course dictated not by some narrow elite, but by the whole Eternal People, everybody in our great region accepts the ideas of Scanism - of Scanist Socialism.

June 26 is KAISERREICH's Anniversary of founding and creation, and to celebrate this, I asked various imperial nobles to write about their time in KR. Their works are presented in this section.
I joined KR around September 24, of 2021. Compared to many of my colleges in the Reichstag or among the Emeriti I'm fairly new, even still to think how far I've gotten in just 3/4 of a year. One of the earliest events in my time in KR was The Wolf Clan, Declansburg, KR - Layem, Sanctum War. Although at the time it appeared as a victory for our enemies in time both of our enemies would fall to a greater NS coalition against them. I've served as the Minister of Culture mainly but for a brief period of time, I acted as the Minister of the Interior when Chancellor Volksleben was gone for a time. In lower positions, I've fought for our Empire as a soldier in the Reichswehr and helped run the checkpoint in the Imperial Discord.
Sadly I've also been here during some less glorious things, such as the mass defection of some old nobles to Montealba a few months ago. I considered many who left as good friends but still, we pushed through the dark times and have come out better for it in my opinion.
If I had to sum up my feeling in KR it would have to be wonder first and foremost. When I first joined there was something new for me to learn about almost all the time, even now I can stumble onto something every now and again that peaks my interest. In all honesty, I doubt I've even scratched the surface of KR history, and that makes me happy to think there is still so much more I can learn about this region and community I've come to call my own.
Seeing KR thrive, being able to contribute, and hang out with all of the people in this region is something I like quite a bit.

I first found Kaiserreich after my personal region was raided by it in late 2016. Over the course of my time in Kaiserreich, I've served mainly in culture and security, serving as Minister of Propaganda, Minister of Culture, Director of the Kaiserreich Office of Intelligence, Economic Planner, and Director of the GRSD. I joined right before the Agia Germania Separatist War and the conflict with CAIN. Throughout my service, I have been steadfast in my support of a more classical and traditional Kaiserreich. I still remember the feeling of awe that I felt when I first joined and I aspire to create that feeling again in others through grand cultural efforts. Kaiserreich is a gem in the chaotic mess of NationStates and the Imperial Government will continue to ensure that we remain a beacon of culture and civility.

Around August 7th or 8th, 2021 I joined KR.
I joined then RP around August 12th.
A few weeks later, on 08/19/21, I got a job as an RP Mod. This job was offered to me by the then Minister of Culture, Sama, because I hadn't had one until then. As a mod, I was very active on the RMB and so I was able to become a citizen of KR on 08/24/21. Some time passed and at the beginning of November, I became Lord. I got more jobs, higher ranks, and more awards over time. For example, I became a judge, soldier, RP director, and on 02/22/22 - a baron and foreign minister.
KR has developed a lot over the months, initially, there were still many nobles and commoners who became inactive over time or left the region. But the situation improved and many new people came. KR will always evolve and survive even in crisis situations.
I'm happy to be Foreign Minister, I like doing this job every day, and I hope I can continue to do it.

I joined the Empire of KAISERREICH right on the first day of the founding of my main nation - that is, Volksleben - and it was, if I remember correctly, 27th November 2018. Most of all, when joining, I've been led by my Germanophilia and didn't know how the course of History shall develop further.
And today I can say that it, in retrospect, developed in a greatly positive way - for both KAISERREICH and your humble servant.
If to speak about RL changes of mine: imagine a young student from the distant Eastern European country, who was upbringed in a misanthropic, oligarchic social environment of nationalist violence and hatred, expectedly eventually claiming to be a right-wing technocrat - suddenly appearing in the positively-minded progressive and internationalist environment of KR. Of course, much of the person's philosophy and views are formed by the general upbringing - but the environment, in which the person socializes, also greatly influences the character. No doubt, such an environment couldn't do anything but cause significant changes in this young student's worldview - the seeds of anti-capitalism and internationalist solidarity, planted much earlier, finally started to grow under the influence of the KAISERREICHer people.
Right from the first day I've got interested in the regional politics, first unsuccessfully trying to get elected into the office of the Imperial Tribune, getting only one vote. A bit later I got a significant number of comrades and acquaintances among the KR's leftists, eventually joining the state apparatus and rising through its ranks with every sizeable crisis our great Empire encountered - for with each crisis, the disloyals were showing their true face and were thrown out.
So eventually I became a minister of this region, tying my nation's fate to it. And in 2021, the people's trust put in me led me to the position of the Imperial Chancellor.
After almost four years of my work and care for the future of the Empire, I can give a bit of advice to any KAISERREICHers reading this.
After experiencing a great number of crises, wars, rises and falls of other regions, I can say that the course of History shall remain favorable to our beloved region only if we stay firm and continue going on the path good for the People. There cannot be one KAISERREICH without the Imperial Unity around the Kaiser, for the Imperial Cause of keeping the Eternal People in a good state of moral, ethical, and political healthiness and stability. No fascist nor other hate-grounded ideas can be allowed in our Empire without risking dismantling its soul. Not a single liberal should be allowed to push for their own interest and the interest of their ideology. Every egoist standing against the collective is in fact also standing against the People. Careerists and other people with unclean thoughts must not be allowed to climb too high in our labor hierarchy. No discussion must be suppressed, it must be encouraged instead - but it must be kept reasonable, without blatant attacks and usage of the dirty quasi-rhetorical tricks.
Fellow KAISERREICHers. I wish you all a happy Foundation Day. Be brave and strive for knowledge. I wish you all shall remain in our region and greatly contribute to its future, making it a better place and you - the better people.
People's happiness depends on us today, my comrades. History calls us. Let us not fail it.

19th Century Lucanite History I: The Failures of the First Republic
The Lucanite Revolution (1799-1800) had resulted in the creation of a new Republican government, headed by Biel Salvi and Bernardo Ajello. For the next eight years, Lucania saw a process of rebuilding, militarization and global eminence as it fought against the Kingdom of Telders and the Paragon Union. The centre of Lucania's foreign relations were defined by this, and the Kantonic Trade League. However, the problems of the Republic's government had already begun to show. Shoddy elections, a lack of legislative assembly as was popular in other nations, and a growing intolerance for the country's old institutions, which culminated in a revolt by the Duchy's of the nation in an attempt to reinstate the monarchy. The attempt failed, and in the wake of the revolt's end in 1808, Biel introduced a parliament for the nation.
For the following months, Biel's Democrat-Technocrat party dominated the nation. Yet his assassination saw the party collapse more quickly then it had risen. In his place, Bernado Ajello and the Democrat-Capitalist party controlled the government. Yet once again, problems within the government were beginning to show. Neither party had managed to gain a majority, and governing the nation proved difficult. Bernardo's administration was almost toppled by a sudden red wave that swept across the country, with the Communist and Socialist parties gaining a total of 60 seats in parliament combined, allowing them to effectively outgun Bernardo, had they not been disorganized and unable to form a coalition. In 1819, the November election saw Bernardo's Democrat-Capitalist party gain a majority, the first party to ever do so. Meanwhile, the Communist and Socialist parties suffered severe setbacks and were reorganised.
The Red Tide
Having suffered severe setbacks, the Communist and Socialist parties were completely revamped. The so-called 'old guard' were forced to resign or leave, giving way to a breath of new beliefs and ideas from the two parties. The Communist Party, which renamed itself to the Popular Front under the guidance of its new leader, Alberto Luciano, embraced Toastian ideals and attended the International. The Socialist Party rebranded as the Socialist Workers' Commune and rejected the communist ideals of Free Toast. The success of Alberto Luciano and Bernardo's deteriorating health led to the 1824 general election resulting in a hung parliament. Bernardo's declining health gave way to a more radical Democrat-Capitalist party, which was usurped by Ultra-Nationalists, only for the subsequent coup to be quickly put down.
The attempted Ultra-Nationalist coup completely upended Lucanian politics, mostly due to the fact that the Democrat-Capitalist party had been practically ripped apart, and its members no longer listened to their party leader, becoming practically independent. Bernardo could not run a government without at least a few seats in government and so for almost two years, between 1826 and 1828, the executive branch of the government simply stopped functioning. The Popular Front, led by Alberto Luciano, took things into their own hand, forming an alliance with the more moderate Liberal Front in an attempt to run the nation. This worked for a while, as they managed to win the support of some of the rogue Democrat-Capitalists. In 1828, the parliament and chancellor elections were held, in where Alberto Luciano's Popular Front won a large majority, winning 90 seats out of 150. Alberto Luciano soon won the election for Chancellor, and for eight years, the Popular Front controlled Lucania. The Democrat-Capitalist party, meanwhile, dissolved in 1832.
The 1828 elections (chancellor and parliament) were the culmination of a nearly decade long red tide that had been sweeping through Lucania, where centre and far-left ideals became the supported ideals of the nation.
Alberto Luciano's Government
Alberto Luciano proved popular among the people and many of his policies benefited Lucania, as the new Chancellor modernised and industrialised the country. Over time, however, he slowly grew more and more unpopular, for debated reasons. In order to not incur the wrath of the other parties and attempt to keep a stable government, the party slowly lost more of its revolutionary and new ideas and by the mid-1830s, was lagging behind other parties such as the Liberal Front. The 1836 elections saw Alberto Luciano win the office of chancellor, but his party failed to win a majority in parliament, leading to a minority government that proved increasingly unpopular. Many had begun to criticise the elections for Chancellor, calling it undemocratic and an enabler for minority governments.
The 1836-1840 minority government was unable to get anything really done and as Lucania's stance as a great power began to deteriorate, many called for change. In 1840, the Popular Front lost even more seats, falling behind fifty. The chancellor elections, meanwhile, saw Alberto Luciano go head to head with his former ally Gaetano Vetorra, which Alberto only narrowly won by just a couple per cent. Yet he could not govern while his party was outnumbered by the Liberal Front. After attempting to run the nation, Alberto Luciano gave up and resigned in October of 1841. The Popular Front scrambled to find a replacement, choosing Giorgio Luca as the new Chancellor. This incurred the wrath of the people, however, who proclaimed that the Popular Front could not choose a chancellor while not even going over it with parliament. Public unrest, spurred on by Gaetano Vetorra, who called for 'a new Republic' culminated in the November riots. A mob of people formed within Kanton Inu, demanding an end to the government of the Popular Front. Giorgio soon resigned, and the people proclaimed the end of the 1st Republic.

19th Century Lucanite Political History II: Novembrism and the Second Republic
The November riots and the end of the Popular Front's government could've gone south quickly, but Gaetano Vetorra soon stepped in, and organised parliament to form a new government. On the 10th of December, the Constitution of the Second Republic was passed by parliament. The new constitution abolished the position of chancellor, replacing it with the title of President. The people would no longer elect the President, and the Parliament and Chancellor elections were replaced by one general election, in where people voted for someone to represent their province, with each province choosing three people. These representatives would make up parliament, and choose the President and the Speaker of the House. Lucania was also divided into 250 provinces, which meant that parliament would be made up of 750 people.
Two months later, in February, elections were held, and Gaetano Vetorra's Liberal Front won a majority of 394 seats. Parliament subsequently elected Gaetano Vetorra as the 1st President of the Second Republic.
The New Political Climate
The new political climate within Lucania was dominated by Gaetano's centre-left ideals, commonly known as Novembrism (November Riots). Novembrism wished for a general peace with Lucania, and end to the imperialist actions of the Lucanian Empire, more regulated capitalism and a wish for Lucania to remain on the world stage as a leading great power. One of Gaetano Vetorra's first acts as President was to send a large fleet to seize Mefalta, which he considered Lucanian clay. This resulted in the Mefaltan Crisis, in where the great alliance between Korania, Lucania and Balticonia was greatly strained Nevertheless, it was a victory for Gaetano, who received the Mefaltan Archipelago and returned Lucania to the stage of great powers.
Socialism and Communism, ideologies that had been so prevalent just years before, began to fade away, as the Popular Front and Socialist Workers' Commune (SWC) began to lose popularity. the Constitutional Monarchist Party (CMP) disbanded in 1840, and Monarchism as a whole generally disappeared. Conservativism, led by the Conservative Party, however, grew in size and popularity, and soon became one of the main parties.
Gaetano Vetorra's national policies were very successful and popular but his international policies were lacking. The Entente, the alliance between Korania, Lucania and Balticonia was finally broken in 1849, with the outbreak of the Austrontan War. For the first time in nearly half a century, Korania and Lucania were rivals, fighting against each other in an attempt to achieve dominance within the South Lezran Sea. The 1840s and 1850s began to see the end of the 'old guard'. The old powers of Lezra were slowly beginning to lose their grasp, while nations on Afrique and Amerique were slowly growing into ascendancy.
Industrially and economically, Lucania still retained one of the strongest economies in the world, but it was beginning to lag behind when compared to countries like Free Toast and Balticonia. Soon enough, Lucania began to have more in common with nations like Touco and Austronta then it did with Free Toast and The Santland. It's status as a great power was declining.
Despite the decline of Lucanian power, Gaetano Vetorra remained widely popular within his nation. In the general elections of 1846, 1850 and 1854, the Liberal Front kept their majority and even extended it in 1854, winning 483 seats, which still remains the biggest majority a party ever won in Lucanian history. The Second Republic was seen as incredibly successful when it came to modernism and acting on policies. The administration of Vetorra was praised as one of the most efficient in the world.
Decline: Nova Maria
Things took a turn in 1855 with the Nova Maria affair. Often regarded as the prized jewel of the Lucanian economy, as it was the world's biggest sugar producer and brought in a large amount of revenue for the economy, Nova Maria was beginning to dream of independence. Tired of Lucanian oppression, and seeking an end to imperialism, the settlers of the colony began demanding better treatment. The reaction back home was one of disgust and the public opinion was strongly against the Nova Marians, and the people demanded retribution. Gaetano, in a blatant misreading of the situation, however, gave the Nova Marians a new charter that gave them extensive rights in October of 1855. The people were outraged and demanded he retract it. While in the process of retracting the charter, though, a Nova Marian militia seized the colony's major ports and declared independence.
Gaetano Vetorra soon declared it an insurrection and began preparing the navy to attack. Yet the great powers of the world intervened. In the Congress of Velnaz, Korania, Balticonia, Free Toast and The Santland forced Gaetano to allow the colony to have its independence. The reaction back home was once again, one of disgust. There was a public outcry against the government and the Liberal Front's popularity began to drop. The fact that Lucania so willingly let its colony separate at the behest of other world powers was proof that the nation was no longer what it once was, and its position as a great power of the world was lost.
Beginning of The End
The Nova Marian affair saw Gaetano Vetorra's popularity take a hit. In the 1858 General Election, the Liberal Front went from 483 seats to 378, keeping their majority by only three seats. Parties like the Popular Front and the Conservative Party saw a resurgence under new leadership. Soon, it was the Liberal Front that was lagging behind the others in terms of modernity and new ideas. The Socialist Workers' Commune, after almost thirty years of failure and unpopularity, saw a resurgence under new ideals and a new campaign.
Gaetano Vetorra's declining health also saw a leadership crisis within the Liberal Front. After nearly twenty years of rule, the Liberal Front's grasp on power seemed to be slipping. Things finally came to head in 1861, when Gaetano Vetorra resigned as President in July, just a couple months away from the 1862 General Election. A year later, he suffered a stroke and died. The party struggled to find a replacement but eventually, it chose the young and popular Guido Marello.
Guido's Government
Guido was a young and handsome politician and was well-liked by the public and his election as President by the Liberal Front was a good decision. He improved the party's public standing and introduced new and modern ideas to revitalize the nation. In November of 1861, he secured a huge victory for the Liberal Front by winning a war against Sastaville in defence of Solondo. With the sudden victory and Guido's rising popularity among the people, some began to predict that the Liberal Front would pull ahead in the elections.
The 1862 General Election saw the Liberal Front lose its majority, winning 369 seats. The Popular Front managed to gain 239, while the Conservative Party and SWC won 101 and 41 respectively. Without a majority, the Liberal Front could not elect Guido as President so for a couple of months Lucania was without a government. Guido spent his time attempting to organise a coalition with the Conservative Party, but failed. Eventually, however, the Conservatives, realising that Lucania needed a government, supported the Liberal Front in passing an amendment to the constitution, that dictated that if no party won a majority in parliament, the former President would keep the job and have to attempt to run a minority government, resign, or form a coalition.
The amendment was widely opposed by the Popular Front and the SWC, who wished to prevent Guido Marello from keeping the position of President. Nevertheless, Guido kept his position. There was large public outcry and some began calling for Guido to resign. Guido proved unable to continue running a government while having a minority in parliament and soon began considering stepping down. Despite the insistence of his party members not to resign, Guido did so in March of 1863. The Liberal Front now found itself unable to find a new leader and the executive branch of the nation once again stopped functioning. The Popular Front soon used this opportunity to pounce and in August of 1863, the party's leader Otto Tezoro organised a march on the government building in Kanton Inu. The August Revolutionism, as it is commonly called, resulted in an armed mob of rioters successfully forcing the Liberal Front to disband its position in parliament. The Second Republic was officialy dissolved.
