Leitha seemed deep in thought for a bit, before exclaiming to Arthur "As a ruler of many systems I'm sure you too understand how incredibly vague that was." The rather stern woman seemed to still have some bit of humor, though it was apparent she was also quite serious about her comment when she directed her attention back to Shaw. "Which world would that be? There are many worlds in my realm that fit the description of an ice world." Leitha's posture remained largely unchanged, her bioluminescent lilac eyes proving to be rather intimidating, though not in of themselves. Leitha herself gave off a rather dreadful atmosphere, especially when making direct eye contact, as if she could just reach out and touch someone else's mind, a gift that Arthur was likely already aware of given the shared childhood.

"Hmm, yes," Arthur replied, "It was my attempt at being dramatic." he said with a bit of a cheeky smirk. As for her demeanour, Arthur seemed less affected by it than Shaw was, he was used to dealing with all manner of folks not least the often internally warping sensation one gets in the presence of the Sith. Perhaps it was just that which prompted Shaw to get back on topic; "A Kepler system, Ma'am. Specifically, Kepler-186αβb."

I need to get around to meeting the rest of the world at some point cause well I can only stay in my frozen hell for so long.

Not really, you just haven’t done anything to set it up. I can’t RP your characters.

"Hm..." Leitha thought for quite a while in silence before continuing. "After careful consideration. I will only allow this expedition to occur if there can be a Leithanian team involved as well. As your own team is probably aware, there is a small Leithanian colony in the outskirts of the system, and it is much preferred if a Leithanian science team had a word in assessing the risks of this expedition." Leitha's rather assertive demeanor and tone wasn't much different from her many televised speeches. The woman had a commanding presence when she needed it which, especially in this day and age, was a necessity in the theatrics that were foreign politics.

OPERATION WINTER RAINS
SHANGHAI, FEBRUARY 2062

    At around 0340 local Shanghai time, a massive convoy of large tank transporters, trucks, and armored personnel carriers, crossed the Shanghai Yangtze River Tunnel and Bridge and entered the G40 Shanghai–Xi'an Expressway into Shanghai. The force of around 5,000 was supported by a squadron of F.43 Condor Dropships, which dropped off several NAVSOC airborne insertion squads into Shanghai via high rise rooftops. As the convoys approached Shanghai via the bridge, all the screens, radios, and TV channels were overtaken by an Emergency Bulletin issued by the Commonwealth Intelligence Corps which espoused the following in Chinese;

      This is an emergency bulletin for the greater Shanghai area. We ask all those who are watching this broadcast to contact as many people as possible so that they may also watch. Chief Minister of Defense Ásdís Liljasdottir held an emergency press conference earlier today to announce the deployment of the trustworthy GLCF regiments to safeguard the peace and to prevent the occurrence of a foreseen worst possible scenario. Chief Minister of Defense Ásdís Liljasdottir has issued the following statement about the mobilization of the GLCF;

"After careful consideration of recent events in East Asia regarding the neighbors of the Chinese states and the states themselves, the local police and protection forces alone have been determined to be insufficient should the worst-case scenario occur."

As part of the deployment request, the following units have been ordered to mobilize; the 802nd Naval Armored Battalion, 138th Naval Armored Battalion, 92nd Naval Mechanized Infantry Battalion, 80th Naval Mechanized Infantry Battalion, 101st Naval Mechanized Infantry Battalion, 55th Naval Infantry Battalion, 58th Naval Infantry Battalion, 71st Naval Infantry Battalion, 13th Artillery Battalion, No.18 Air Transport Squadron, and the Vladivostok Astral Regiment.

      Thank you for your cooperation.

At 0400 local Shanghai time, the 802nd Naval Armored, 92nd Naval Mech. Infantry 101st Naval Mech. Infantry, and 55th Naval Infantry—Designated Force Anna—entered the Pudong district of Shanghai via the G40 Expressway. Force Anna then immediately went westbound on the G1501 express way, with a large portion of the 101st Naval Mech. Infantry being posted at the G40-G1501 interchange., stopping all west and eastbound traffic on G1501 from passing through as well as keeping G40 shut down to civilians. The remainder of Force Anna continued westbound before setting up in Jing'an. Force Brynhildur—138th Naval Armored, 80th Naval Mech., and 58th Naval Infantry—meanwhile, entered Shanghai around 0440 local Shanghai time, heading south to the Lujiazui district, setting up in the Lujiaziu central greenspace, using it for their temporary forward headquarters.

Finally, at 0600, Force Dagný—71st Naval Infantry and 13th Artillery—were deployed via No.18 Air Transport Squadron F.44 Albatross Heavy Dropships. to Lujiaziu by using the Mingzhu roundabout as a landing zone. Force Dagný then proceeded to set up in the Lujiaziu Central Green Space, whilst Forces Anna and Brynhildur began to spread out across Shanghai, setting up checkpoints and observation posts. The method in which the troops arrived at Shanghai wasn't made apparent until 0823 when a GLAN Astral Fleet Carrier arrived off the eastern coast of Shanghai and proceeded to land in the water. The carrier in question was one of the numerous Colossus-class Astral Fleet Carriers, albeit the deck number was completely new to any observers. It'd seem like one of the Steypustöð-13 capital ships had finally made an appearance.

When it was said and done by the afternoon, around 6,300 troops had been deployed to Shanghai by the GLCF, not including special forces units and other supporting forces. Any resistance by local police forces were brutally suppressed, often through the use of chemical gases like CS gas, CN gas, or CR gas but sometimes through lethal exchanges of gunfire. By 1550 local time, Force Anna had surrounded the Shanghai Municipal Council building, demanding the immediate surrender of police and local forces garrisoned inside it. Defiant against the GLCF, the local forces refused to surrender, after which the GLCF forces in Shanghai launched a blockade of the Shanghai Municipal Council building.

Leithania's government has not made any official comments since the emergency bulletin released to Shanghai by the Leithanian CIC on behalf of Chief Minister Ásdís Liljasdottir, though analysts have already noted that there has been a rumored uptick in activity at the Stjórnaustur Cosmoport, which could be an indicator of Leithania sending additional troops to Shanghai.

As they ventured deeper into the pit, it became more apparent that the structure wasn't designed for creatures with legs. While having crevices, cracks, and outcroppings, the walls were largely featureless, as if the previous inhabitants were capable of flight, or some other mode of transportation. After quite a bit of climbing, they eventually reached the supposed bottom of the pit, or rather, where it opened up into a massive cavern. The central shaft that had run the height of the tower terminated in a massive bulbous sphere, which had spokes connecting it to various walls much like a spiderweb. The cavern had many tunnels leading away from it, some seeming to be almost large enough to fit a small starship through, while others were only just large enough to fit something the size of a cat. The sphere in the middle of the room gave off a noticeable energy signature, mostly a Čerenkov radiation pattern similar to that of a slipspace drives that the Gems used. Though the signature was strange, it wasn't an exact match to Gem slipspace drivers, and seemed to be in some sort of state of low power, as if it were dormant. Combined with the design of the structure, it was unlikely the tower was built by the Gems, especially when carbon dating put it to be older than the theorized age of Gem civilization.

The crew of the carrier in orbit would find something rather strange, the tower wasn't the only strange structure on the planet. Some 8 kilometers north of it was another structure sticking out of a mountain side, more closely resembling some sort of ruins or wreck than a normal structure. It had a similar property to the tower however, scans were unable to penetrate the hull of the vessel and the wreck itself seemed to be of different design than any Gem ships the cybertronians have ever seen.

"Doctor, I think we just found how the Gems reached FTL travel this is pretty close to them," Atom said having studied Gem Slip-space drives.

"So the lithoids can't even build their own ftl got to take that from someone else as well," Fusion said studying the devices.

"Just keep studying the findings gents and keep an optic out for anything that can tell is who or what built this place," Tranaulas said silently cataloging everything he could see.

"Thundercraker sir we have a crashed derelict planetside. Nothing like it our databank not Gem and it's certainly not anything from old Cybertron eras," said an ensign.

"Bring us over top of it. Get a line with the Illumination tell them to ready an away team with escorts from us," Thundercraker said. "And someone get a line of communication with Tranatulas," he said as the bridge crew got to work.

As the large cavern was explored, the group would've noticed grooves in all the tunnels, a labyrinth of lines and circles that looked like some sort of glyphs. The lines had some resemblence to Gem glyphs but were continuous instead of separated into different glyphs. It was likely some ancient form of Gem language, but it couldn't be possible that the Gems also stole the language of this mystery civilization, could it?

Meanwhile, further analysis of the strange sphere in the center of the tower revealed that it wasn't really a slipspace drive, but some sort of generator that used slipspace technology to somehow generate power. The methodology of how it did this wasn't fully understood though, and the usage of a slipspace drive for a power source was likely way beyond the Gems. However even in a dormant state, the generator was producing enough power to sustain several sizable ships for years.

There wasn't much to say about orbital scans of the wreck. The vessel measured about a kilometer long and had a largely geometric shape, being long, thin, and angular. The skin of the vessel, unlike the tower, was completely smooth and featureless, save for the gaping hole in its side. Despite the hole, there wasn't a single way to really scan the inside of the ship from orbit. It'd seem that, like the tower, a team would have to physically explore the vessel. All attempts to communicate the tower team via radio were in vain, as communications continued to fail to penetrate the tower.

    A New Horizon

December 18, 1962. Val d’Hérens. In the midst of beautiful mountains, and lush grass, Switzerland’s future rests gently in its cradle. Steam hisses from the valves of the C ⅚ pushing the cradle, slowly steaming further into the exclusion zone. Its crew stares nervously through the windows, knowing the power of the object they’re pushing. One piece of rough track, one bad fuse, and they’re gonners. Soon after, the buffer pads gently press up against the cradle's buffers, signaling the end of the line. From the cabin of the locomotive, the engineer swiftly exits, disconnecting the locomotive’s chain from the railcar’s hook. It’s time to get the hell away from this thing.

An hour later, the engine’s crew stands inside a small bunker with the rest of the project's team. Laying in that valley is no random object, but Switzerland’s first nuclear device. Herwisch. The Commune was entering the depths of the atomic age, and not one of the researchers knew if they would flounder or succeed. At 4:06 AM CET, a flash of light glows out from the horizon. Heat runs alongside the mountainous walls of the valley, carrying the thunderous crash of destruction.

There’s a sense of immense emptiness in the cramped bunker. Glances are the only thing cutting through the air. Men try to find meaning in the eyes of their coworkers, but every individual has their own feelings on the matter. Some cry, half in joy and half in misery, others cheer, acting as the welcoming party of Switzerland’s atomic era. Others simply remain stiff, staring out the viewing slit, goggles still firmly affixed. None are inherently right, none inherently wrong. Soon enough though, one man braves the silence, the only radiobiologist on site. Basil Füssli.

“If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.”

Across the room, one of the Physicists fails to bite his tongue, Gebhard Mettler.

“Sin implies we’ve done something wrong.”

“We’re playing god. Until the Amis invented this damned thing, man had no ability to eliminate himself wholly, and now here we are, sitting on the edge.”

Mettler stares over at the man, chuckles, and merely dismisses his concerns, “If humans are doomed to destroy themselves, at least it won’t just be the Amis and Lethas. We have a voice at the table with this.”

“Or whatever fool leads us.”

A quiet aggravated silence befalls the space between the two men. It’s clear both understand they’re arguing fruitlessly. Hiroshima and Nagaski were evidence enough to Füssli’s concerns of self annihilation. It was a case study of a man-made pandora’s box, and they’d made the Commune capable of it now. Inversely, Mettler saw it as purely a matter of the greater good. If possessing it alone was enough to deter an attack, then he had no reason to play philosopher on the matter. If not, then at least the Commune would go out fighting. Last year alone the Lethanians had tested a 50 megaton device, the Herwisch was nothing comparatively speaking. If Hochstetler’s, one of the project's best mathematicians, was to be trusted, the device’s 21 kiloton force would kill or injure some 154,000 if dropped on the capital. Comparatively the 50 megaton force the Lethanians had tested would decimate nearly a million souls, not counting deaths related to the fallout and radiation such a detonation would inevitably create. This was justification enough for Mettler. If Switzerland was to be threatened, it had a final punch to throw. Eye for an eye, atomic detonation for atomic detonation.

An hour later, Füssli is stuck inside a modified Pzw.39. Its main gun and machine gun have been removed, the openings welded over. Even the driver’s hatch had been welded in place, only the top port remaining available for exit. It struggles forward into the blast zone, the extra lead plating strapped to the outside weighing down the little tank substantially. The vehicle trundles along until the driver stops at the edge of the crater that rests at ground zero. Füssli crouches down in the cramped interior, reaching down to undo a makeshift hatch on the bottom of the tank. It’s only wide enough to gingerly maneuver a ladle through to scoop some soil, but even the exposure from this distance could prove to be life-shortening.

Scooping up a sizable pile of irradiated dirt, Füssli seals the sample in a jar, and then seals the hatch again.

“Get me the f*ck away from here.”

    Three Years Later

AHHH YOU THOUGHT, nah, gonna cut this up into two piece so I can introduce what I call “The Death of Innocent Neutrality”

    Amerigo's Overture

    June 5th, 2062

Intercepted message from Greater Venezuela's Presidential Palace to the Legislative Speaker of Venezuela:
"El gran líder Señor Bolívar DeSánchez está muerto. Todas las unidades militares se prepararán para cambiar la Presidencia. El mundo no debe saberlo todavía."

      "Great Leader is Dead."

Señor Bolívar DeSánchez was the Tyrant which ruled over Greater Venezuela with an Iron fist after the Gem war. During the war, South America was one of the few continents which was relatively spared from complete ruin from the Gem war, though the situation on the ground had deteriorated rapidly. Bolivarist Venezuela had gone on to conquer most of Northern South America up until the Peruvian, Brazilian, and Guyanan border. Known for it's dictatorial rule, Venezuela had made agreements with local kingpins to swear loyalty to DeSánchez in exchange for a controlled stake within the creation of a legal black market within the country. With how powerful and enlarged the country had become, it was bound to come into contention with the Americans and the paranoia of the Revolutionary nation's greatest fear of an American Invasion was never lost even through the apocalyptic war with the Gems.

Venezuela was one of the few countries in the world to also have Anti orbital cannon technology, though they were very sparse in number in comparison to the prototype weapons array that the Americans and other world powers had come up with. With such a limited capacity, the guns were a critical strategic asset and target for the country. Though they were some of the best out there in the world, the day that the great leader died proved to be their last day in operation. News of the DeSánchez's death pervaded it's way through the military before a broadcast soon found itself intertwined within the military signals of certain battalions which were more loyal to their local communities than the state itself.

"¡A todas las fuerzas de los militares que desean cambiar de gobierno a los corruptos bolivarianos, se levantan en revolución y ayuda en la libertad de vuestros países y Venezuela de los Narco's que han robado vuestra nación!

¡Destruyan las armas orbitales y dejen que las llamas del cielo quemen el escudo que esconde a los Monstruos con los que trabaja su gobierno! ¡Destruir los escudos!"

Though the broadcasts were in spanish and were limited to a few scattered locations throughout the country, soon explosions began to be reported around the Northern Sector of the country as the central Network sites controlling the Orbital Cannon arrays at Bogotá, Santa Marta, Caracas, and the Maracaibo and Orinoco Oil Fields all soon began reporting attacks on the ground with part of the guns being destroyed by missile and tank attacks from the ground. This was more than just an attack from within as the Ministry of Defense in Caracas soon began to pick up a massive flurry of activity Both above Venezuela and Ecuador. The situation in the country was chaos as a Media blackout took effect and the internet was offline for the civilian population which was tuning into the news that the current reports of attacks around the country were just rumors and that order would be restored soon...though the reports would do little to calm the populace when the internet had come back online and images began to spread across social media of what was happening.

In the Space above Venezuela, Phoenix Class Warships and Halcyon Class cruisers of the American Navy, or what was believed to be them could be seen within atmosphere firing pods towards the surface. Across the Coast, From Santa Marta, Maracaibo, and Caracas, reports of American blue water naval ships were reported by the Venezuelan Navy before communications were cut off. At the border with Panama, American Forces had begun charging across the border with support from elements of the Air Force providing CAS for armored and Infantry units moving into the country.

America was Invading at the most vulnerable hour Venezuela was in and with the preemptive attacks on the Orbital cannon networks dealing a deep blow, the Venezuelans would not last long as the first ODST Platoons began in Bogota, Quito, and Caracas.

Shamura stared down at the sight of flames beginning to replace lights as power stations were being bombarded from Archer missiles fired minutes ago in anticipation of the decapitation strike on the country. "How long until their guns begin to fire back at the fleet?" Captain Cutter asked as the High Bishop of the Cult turned towards him. "They might already be tracking our locations though if our ODST's are fast enough, they won't be much of a threat. Continue the ships course but steady us for evasive measures. If the current strikes don't make the Bolivarists quit, I am authorizing the use of Atmospheric Atomic Detonations...and limited ground use of Kinetic bombardment as well." The Bishop said as Captain cutter and the other weapons officers looked at Shamura in agreement. "Affirmative." The Arachnoid looking augmented human nodded as she stared back at the surface of Earth. "The President and the Joint Chiefs will be supporting us from the ground...but the cult shall rule the heavens, and we shall rain our righteous rage down upon the heretics who are sheltering the last of the Papacy in America." Shamura said darkly as she watched the ODST's riding down towards the planet like asteroids.

"When you call upon your god to save you...just as we called upon him, you shall realize he has betrayed you in his abandonment. Heed our warnings and submit to the Lamb...or die in folley to be sacrificed for your god." Shamura's words echoed through the bridge of the ship...though as she did so, they echoed out into space and towards a figure who could not be seen staring down at Earth.

With his wings spread, he stared down at the country as he could hear the countless screams of people praying to Father. Gabriel stood simply in silence before lowering his gold and white helmet and vanishing into a portal to return to Heaven to inform them of the massacre to come.

Bucharest
Vasili Dragovich sat in council with the court of lords it was an interesting menagerie of titles. You had the obvious Count and Countess for Von Carstien, the Baroness of the Lahamians, the Lord Commander of the Dragons, and the Marques of Dimitrescu as well of course a representative of Tepes. At this table of distinguished individuals Vasili felt more centered with than the meanials and functionaries of the Palace. For among them he could drop the act of a single lie his family had begun after the vanishing of Vlad "Dracula" Tepes. Here among them he was not King Dragovich he was the Lord Steward working to keep everything in order till his one true king returned.

"So shall we begin this council," Marques Alicia said a towering figure amongst the council members.

"Yes, let this meeting commence my Lord's and Ladies of Romania," Vasili said as they started going over everything of importance from internal matters to happenings aboard. Lord Commander Beryx focusing on the past deeds of the Russian military in the Balkans and the news of their attack on Shanghai. Counter to the Lord Commanders more outward observations the "Lord" Tepes was more concerned with the shadowy reports of a paramilitary gourp working within Romania and attacking citizens as well as some troubling reports of dissappearances around the ruins of Gresit. At the mention of the ruins of that city many in the room grew attentive.

"You suggest that the Swords are still alive," Isabella Von Carstien said almost dubiously at the idea.

"The Swords of Cain were whipped out burned within the city of Gresit centuries ago they can't of escaped the fires Dracula made sure to that," Beryx said sounding outraged at the thought of such an old enemy still being alive.

"It could be them but it could just as well be some band of Strigoi renovating in the ruins," Marques Alicia said. "However a cousin has heard some rather troubling things about the area. Sir Tepes could very well be correct in his estimations," she added as an after thought.

"Then what shall be done for if it is Swords of Caine then, they have gotten better at covering their tracks," said the Baroness of the Lahamians.

"Yes suddlity was not in their repertoire before Gresit's burning," Vasili said as anyone there would well know.

"Suppose that it is then what shall we do," asked Isabella.
"We crush them burn out that rats nest a second time and clear it out for good this time," Beryx said a gauntleted fist slamming into the marble table. The strike left cracks spiderwebing out. "Temper temper dear Beryx," Alicia said with mirth.

"Then we are all in agreement yes," Vasili to the gathering. This got a number of nods or verbal agreements on the matter. The council would continue till almost sunrise of the next day with orders to set in motion the next moves for Romania.

The Whittlesey
The brother groups of Vicslater's Vulonteers and Vicslater's Vanguard called the Major Whittlesey or simply the Whittlesey home. Although it had once upon a time been named something different before The Benifacint Reconciliation a CCS class battle cruiser it was a flowery name for a vessel of war but, then again the Gems had loved such naming conventions. The majority of the Vanguard was in what had been converted into a chow hall. Chattering noisily about this or that story from a mission. When the doors to the chow hall opened and out went sailing a unmistakable shape. Like a nuke the word exploded from a table closes to the door, "Frag!" Those closest to the door dove for cover or up turned tables to make barriers for the on coming blast but, as seconds ticked by and nothing happened the people occupying the room began to peek from behind cover. Only then did they see it was a dummy gernade meant for training.

Laughter and some curses pervade the room as the chow hall was put back in order. While others went out into the hall to see if the perpetrators were close by having a laugh of their own. They soon found the guilty party laughing their arses off. They were given a disaplianery action of cleaning both the Volunteers and Vanguards weapons.

The Unified American Federation wrote:Table for Two.

Date: October 2nd 2061.
Location: London, United Kingdom.

Sir Pennington got off of the chartered flight from JFK International to London Heathrow before making his way to a private escort which was waiting for him within the airport of American agents in Britain who were already in disguise within the country for months before ahead of the meeting which was taking place. It took many backdoor negotiations within closed channels for Pennington to finally be able to arrange the meeting with approval of Downing Street and hopefully the Royal Family if all went well. He leveraged his position within one of the few surviving guilds of both the American Occupation and Gem War, The Goldsmiths, in order to arrange the meeting. Knowing that his fathers lineage was able to be traced back for centuries within the guild, he knew it would be easy for his loyalty to be granted faith as his stint in America after the Invasion of Britain as Undersecretary for the Treasurer would be seen higher than his short stint as a car salesman at the time when he lived in Washington D.C.

As the convoy of three range rovers made their way out of the Airport, The Treasurer made one last call to a Restaurant in Westminster which was a well known safe location for the Prime Minister and him to meet at out of the prying eyes of the Press or any Media. The last thing either of them needed was the meeting being blown by his arrival and the potential scandal that would erupt from such a personal meeting.

"The Old Oak Tavern." The woman on the other end replied as Pennington grinned and spoke up. "Reservation for Mister Pensworth, the Executive Client Room." He replied simply before hearing the line going silent for a moment before being patched into a secure call. "Have you been followed?" The Voice on the other end of a much more stern and older sounding woman asked. "No. I'm arriving via personal Motorcade but we're in Civilian clothing. Your Security agents didn't question my pre war British Passport, good on them." He stated as the woman on the other end sighed. "You're a lucky bastárd I'll give you that Penn. Prime Minister will be informed about your arrival shortly. I presume that you'll be footing the bill?" The larger man chuckled as he readjusted himself in his seat. "Oh of course! It's my treat...and the Royals?" He asked simply as the woman sighed out. "I've not heard a reply back from them through any other channels so this all hinges on you and the Prime Minister. I only have 40 seconds before they find out I'm patched in so I hope you make this meeting work out and you figure out a wae tah get this whole sortie with the Americans over with and done." She said as her voice sounded a bit pained.

"I'll try Dear Sister...I'll try." He said with a deep sigh as he looked at his watch. 20 seconds. "Whatever happens...can we go see mum if yer free?" He asked, keeping an eye on the time. "Aye...and the flowershops open late...so we can get the primroses there for her." The Woman replied before a smile grew on his face. "Perfect." He mused out as he then saw the last 5 seconds come up before speaking his Oath to the Crown.

"The King is dead, Long Live The King." Pennington Stated before he hung up the phone, leaving his sister and contact within the government with 3 seconds to spare before she disconnected her laptop from the wired connection she had, leaving her interference unknown to her employers. The silent civilian clothed woman closed it up before sliding it into her leather bound bag as she got up from the desk within the library room she hid inside of for her task before making her way out of the library room and towards the entrance, making one last text to inform Downing Street that the Treasurer had Arrived in The United Kingdom.

The Prime Minister, Lady Mary Marlborough, was sat in the Cabinet Office Briefing Room, taking a backseat for this session as her colleagues took the reins. It was currently the turn of the Director of the Imperial Bureau of Cosmic Sciences to speak. Lady Mary heard her phone go off in her bag and took it out, checking to see if it was what she'd been expecting. Reading the text, she put her phone away again and whispered to one of the interns behind her to take her place, giving her her notes and prepared files - slightly unusual but entirely within her rights who she assigned to speak on her behalf. She quietly excused herself as she closed the door to the Cabinet Room behind her, the mutterings of her colleagues still audible from behind it. She looked to her personal protection officer and nodded, and he understood what she meant, immediately escorting her to her car.

She'd have went in her car of choice, the Rover P5, however it would have been too recognisable as the car of the Prime Minister, having only been used before for Prime Minister's Wilson, Heath and Callaghan. Instead she was taken to the rendezvous in what would have been her Prime Ministerial car, the Jaguar XJ X542 which wouldn't turn all that many heads.

Lady Marlborough's small security team briefly ensured the area was clear, and one of her men entered the Tavern to ensure Pennington was in fact there, and upon confirming, moved the comms unit on his cuff up to his mouth and relayed the all clear. Mere seconds later, the elegant and stately Lady Marlborough pulled back the curtain to the executive suite as her officer left to pretend to order a drink, and she sat down opposite Pennington.

"Oh, Dear Pennington, dreadfully sorry about the delay old boy. I'm glad you could make it. Before we go on, I should mention, as much as we want The Family onboard, my own connections to them aside from leading His Majesty's Government got me as far as Prince Richard, the King's childhood guardian and closest confidant. He thought it best not to inform the King, or anyone else for that matter, until we can get actual results."

Dang all sorts of things are happening around here. Guess that few weeks off let people get some ideas going.

So important question to me anyways besides myself who else has an agency tasked with monitoring the abnormal and super natural. SCP and the like for a close approximation. Why you might ask because it could be important for something I have been mulling over.
