Down By Law is, in its way, a comedy, though very arty and subtle at times. Not for everyone. The ensemble of Roberto Benigni, John Lurie and Tom Waits is casting genius. If you like this you may also enjoy Stranger Than Paradise (1984).

Life is Beautiful is likewise a comedy and only Benigni could have pulled of this film with its very serious subject matter and have it be both hysterically funny and poignantly touching at the same time.

Any player in the game may make original poem submissions to the contest. They needn't even have an embassy with the Bar region and can submit them by telegram if they need to. Players may also make as many submissions as they wish each week and are allowed to resubmit poems which they have previously submitted that may not have won.

The purpose of the contest is to promote creativity in the game and to stimulate activity and interaction. Who wins and who doesn't is less important than simple having fun and enjoying the process of composing poems in the short period of time allowed.

I've gotten a request for the juke-box and it's been added to the playlist.
