The earliest records of Kylondian history can be found in the Quantio Scrolls. The Quantio Scrolls are the only remaining records of the Quantio, but thankfully, the scrolls themselves are packed full with information. After years of examination, historians have finally been able to translate these scrolls and discover our long lost history.

Age of the Quantio: 4000 B.D - 1578 B.D

4000 B.D- The Quantio are officially formed when the tribes of ancient Kylondia join together to form a more powerful nation.

3756 B.D- The Quantio have successfully conquered the lands of its nearby enemies, Kylondia is now its present day size.

3078 B.D- A religious schism occurs. It is recorded a faction of Quantio priests began to worship the “darkness within.” The ensuing disagreement leads to armed conflict.

2999 B.D- The war is declared “over.” The Dark Followers are recorded to have been “purified from the lands of Quantio.”

(Historians are unsure if this means the Followers were killed off, or they were reconverted, and their ideals been supposedly forgotten.)

2500 B.D- Quantio experiences “The Great Punishment”.

(The Quantio Scrolls do not elaborate on what specific events happened. Archeological research shows the presence of several natural disasters occurring during this time. But many are geologically impossible, as Kylondia doesn't have the compatible climate or location to allow for events such as tornadoes, earthquakes, and hurricanes.)

1659 B.D- The Dark Followers re-emerge from hiding. The reborn faction swiftly takes control of the Quantio government.

1578 B.D- The Dark Followers are now in complete control. They rename the nation to Kylondia.

The nation of Kylondia has been born, the following time period is recorded in the Kylondian archives. Events in this time will bring forth the arrival of the Drayrks.

The Rising Darkness: 1577 B.D- 1 B.D

1550 B.D- “The Purification” takes place. All signs or records of the Quantian culture and existence are nearly erased. A few brave and dedicated scholars spirit away a handful of documents and records about the culture. All of the scholars are captured and interrogated, refusing to give up the the location of the records, they are all executed.

1475 B.D- Fearing repercussion from other tribes on the continent for their increasingly imperial actions, the Kylondian leaders order the construction of a multitude of hidden camps and bases along the nation’s border. These camps, referred to as “Ferik Camps”, would remain in place to present day, constantly evolving and adapting to the new ages of warfare.

1444 B.D- The first internal conflict within Kylondia begins. A splinter faction, their name lost to history, attempts to take control of the northwestern region of the nation. The Kylondian government responds with military action.

1400 B.D- The conflict, dubbed “The Cleansing” by future historians, concludes. Heavy casualties on both sides occurred before the final splinter faction holdout was destroyed.

1290 B.D- The Kylondian government becomes increasingly theological in nature. The practices of the Dark Followers become more and more present in society.

1000 B.D- The Kylondian leaders force their followers to undergo countless rituals and sacrifices.

980 B.D- The city of Periol, mysteriously stops interactions with the rest of the nation. Traders who visit the capital find the entire city in a trance like state. An artifact is supposedly found in the capital building, but it is destroyed by one of the traders when he attempted to touch it, the city was then released from its trancelike state. There are no records of what the government did in response to these events.

761 B.D- The earliest recorded sightings of Drayrk Storms occur. Traders bring word of abnormally dark clouds with purple glow. All the traders that report such events typically go missing soon after.

345 B.D- Drayrk Storms have grown more frequent and powerful, rumors begin to spread that the storms are of the Dark Followers god’s coming.

115 B.D- Years of discontent with the Dark Followers methods lead to widespread open rebellion. “The Great Test” is the name given to the conflict by Follower scholars.

2 B.D- The Follower’s control over Kylondia has nearly vanished as more and more Kylondians side with the rebellion.

0 B.D- The nation is on the verge of total collapse, increasing conflict and Drayrk Storms have led to widespread chaos. A massive mob breaks through the Follower’s last city. The events that partake are unclear, but two things are for certain. None of the leaders of the government survive. And the sky is torn asunder. With Darkness spilling out of it.

Time of Chaos: 0 B.D-1434 A.D
The time between this point and Pre-Modern Kylondian history is confused and often contradictory. All that is known is that mass chaos and anarchy rages as the Drayrk storms envelop the nation. Drayrks are first sighted during this period. At some point Kylondians managed to communicate and coexist with the creatures.

Pre-Modern History: 1435 A.D-2000 A.D

1435 A.D- The first iteration of The Council is formed. This new government slowly gets Kylondia under control via their alliance with the Drayrk species.

1496 A.D- Immigrants from an island nation called Ragea arrive in Kylondia. Their worship of the “Flaming Phoenix” would eventually give the Drayrks their nickname as the “Dark Phoenix”.

1898 A.D- Kylondian science begins to learn how harness the power of the Drayrk dimension to power their tools, vehicles, homes, and weapons.

1923 A.D- The Kylondian aircraft program is begun to try and determine a way to break through the Drayrk storms.

1989 A.D- The air program ends in failure. All future aircraft use is relegated to offshore aircraft carriers.

Modern Day: 2021 A.D - Present Day
2021 A.D- Kylondia breaks its centuries long isolation to interact with the wider world.

2022 A.D- Kylondian-Brethren diplomatic relations are halted due to an attack from a large Drayrk “god” named Vendril.

2032 A.D- Following the sudden appearence of a new land mass, Kylondia colonizes one of the new islands and establishes Fort Ragea, the second island is prepped for another fort, but with a different mission.

2032 A.D- Military Aid is sent to the neighboring nation of Altuisa in response to growing tension with Estande.

2032 A.D- Simon Daemon is chosen as the first High Speaker of the Council. His role is to me a visible and tangible figurehead for Kylondia.

2032 A.D- Kylondia goes to war against the Unity Collation after their aggressive attacks against their SETO ally: Felsinsel.
