Might as well give you some Autonomy if you want to do that

Okay, but that was too fast. Make some kind of post on why you accepted Kurikia as your lord, maybe your government was too cowardly or some other reason.

Kurikia wrote:This is what I ment

That would be almost impossible to do considering your distance away from republoslavia.

Air Campaign

The Levantine Air Force attempts to both engage the imperialist air force, while also carry out strikes on ground forces. Fighters in the skies use the tactic of launching chaff and flares, and then firing missiles. While SAM batteries are confused by the infrared countermeasures, some are able to lock onto their targets and fire missiles.

On the ground, this time Levantine troops/tanks are warned, and move to avoid being struck by the impending aerial barrage. Some are able to take shelter.

Back in the skies, although a fair amount of jets heading to attack enemy ground forces are hit by SAM fire, attack aircraft are able to open fire on San Sierran/HUR tank formations and ground troops with ASMs and lethal rockeye cluster bombs.

Defensive Zone

Many Levantine artillery units are taken out by counterbattery fire, however point defenses and SAMs are able to prevent the barrage from being totally effective. The remaining artillery units including those not yet discovered, prepare for another volley against the imperialists. This time, their munitions are very different.

Meanwhile, San Sierran artillery strikes on fortified hamlets are largely ineffective, with the majority of casualties being civilians. Roughly 800 troops and 1500 innocents are killed.

War Crimes

In desperation, the Levantine government decides to resort to its second most deadly weapon. As chaos reigns along the border, Saddam Urabi gives the order...

All artillery units along the border open fire, sending over a thousand shells some filled with mustard gas, others phosgene, and the occasional bit of sodium hydroxide towards enemy positions. These three gases require different masks to protect against, making it almost impossible for enemy troops caught to survive.

To make matters worse for the enemy, 32 ICBMs equipped with stealth tech and filled to the brim with the same three lethal gases are launched from hidden silos. These ballistic missiles are aimed at coalition military camps, sectors with large amounts of troops, and large military installations.

(Please don't be too angry with me...)

I have some issues.

The majority of Levantine artillery being taken out were not by counter-battery sites, they were by howitzer sites. Counter-batteries fired against Levantine rockets heading towards San Sierran and Utopian sites.

Thirty two Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles being launched and three types of mustard gases being launched at once seems kind of unfair.

I don’t think anyone has regarded war as fair since they stopped standing in lines.

Pakitsk wrote:Martis jumps at the noise before settling down. "Basalt? Has he been to Pakitsk? I know not the name, but mayhaps I can contact one of the Grand Ataman's lieutenants who might have heard rumor." He's acting a little bit like a child now, curious about everything and glancing about him as though he'd never seen the buildings or streets of a foreign city -- which, of course, he hasn't. "Will we be there soon? Forgive me, but I cannot take notes while walking and wish to learn much from your Professor Letwin. While we speak, however, do you know where I might find shelter for the night, or perhaps for a month? I see there is more to learn than I expected."

Sorry! Asp quits laughing. Basalt's been there, yes, that's why he's so interested in Letwin's work. But his time there was traumatic and he doesn't like having the story told.

At the end of the street looms a massive stone building, scarred from time and battle, parts of it clearly having been reconstructed more recently; Asp points to it with her tail. Here it is. The pride of Geiriskali. As for your accommodations, Letwin will put you up in a spare dorm for as long as you need.

A legion of exquisitely detailed stone gargoyles stare them down from the university's roof. By all appearances they're just very artful statues, but . . . Martis could swear their eyes move when he's not looking.

Well, as for the first one, fair enough.

But in my defense, getting invaded by a massive coalition while already being stuck in a offensive war with another nation is also kind of... as you put it "unfair". Besides ur gonna win anyways even if u lose a ton of troops.

Well, you have a point, I'm wrong in the second part.
