In a Far Off Realm

A lone female figured floated in the air as she looked at random orbs that allow her to see every multiverse possible. The female figure in question has white flowing hair, pale skin, bright yellow eyes, and she wore a dark blue jester outfit with purple stripes.

"Hmmm all of these multiverses are SO boring! Not enough chaos or insanity if you ask me!" The woman said as she tossed a orb away.

Just then a bright flash appeared in the woman's realm as a tall figure wearing full body armor looked at the woman.

"Ah! Soul King its been a while! What brings you to my Realm of Chaos and Insanity?" The Woman asked excited to finally get a visitor.

"Jestress I have come to ask for help with a little problem." Soul King said as he cringed at the word help.

"Oooohhhh~? A Higher God asking a Lesser God for help now this is interesting!" Jestress said as floated upside down.

"What do you need help big guy?"

Soul King summoned one of Jestress's orbs as he showed her the universe that Ray, Nexus and the others lived in.

"Oh I watched this universe before! Hard to believe that this universe was completely coded and not made by a God! So what has you interested in this universe?" Jestress asked.

"Despite the souls being coded they have a good amount of power for a mortal soul. And as you know I like collecting souls that help me gain power and since the Council won't let me interfer in other universal mortals affairs I need you to collect two mortal souls for me." Soul King said.

"The souls of Ray and Nexus."

"Hmmm I might be able to help out Mr. Soul man! But what's in it for me once I collect these two souls?" Jestress asked.

"You can cause chaos and insanity within this universe and destroy it if you see fit." Soul King said.

This put a huge grin on Jestress's face finally she can do whatever she wanted.

"You have a deal! Those two souls are good as yours! After all I can do anything!" Jestress said as she laughed before disappearing into a pile of cards.

I'm a simple man. I see Soul King, I like.

Stuff I supposed died. Might wanna fix that.

ZOCOM wrote:Albus was rather... Shaken with hearing all of this, the fact that he could state all of this seemingly out of nowhere... Just how far had this boy come? "I... Suppose it did all end with Elder Lich Bravos..." He couldn't dispute anything Heimrich was saying, because he didn't know if he could at this moment in time... Ever sigh he could see pointed to him having some sort of godly power. Much like his nephew and niece... But something very different. This wasn't strength... It was something more than that.

Albus listened carefully to Heimrich's warning, he didn't like it but he certainly would be able to make sure no one else died going after Heimrich, he was beyond the order... The Elders weren't going to like it but that was the truth about it. Though his eyes slowly widen as Heimrich finished what he was saying. "What... Did you just say...? Heimrich no. The two of you were friends you can't do that to him, he mourned you after he thought he killed you! I-I can't allow you to kill him, not now!" Albus was shaken, he knew that the boy was far beyond anything he could possibly muster, but he was so sure that he had the ability to bring his nephew back from the brink.

The hard look he received in return spoke much of what role Heimrich knew Albus played in Duncan's decline. Or to be more precise, absence. "The Duncan you knew is already gone, ending him now is a mercy on his memory and for the rest of mankind." Heimrich looked at the window and the pale autumn light now coming through it. "If only I had a way to know before how many layers of lies there really were." His words sounded like they were directed, not quiet at Duncan, but something beyond him. And it was easy to see that Heimrich distanced himself from any sort of memory of friendship with Duncan, out of anger, sadness or remorse Albus did not know. Just that there was something deeper hidden in Heimrich's meaning. Something of darkness.

OOC: I'll get to the rest when I can soon.

My my things are getting spicy, though I am rather disappointed in Heimrich. He gives up far easier than Duncan does

ZOCOM wrote:My my things are getting spicy, though I am rather disappointed in Heimrich. He gives up far easier than Duncan does

You are taking away from this very different things from me :P I can't speak for Putnam obviously, but these are my take aways-

Duncan has been fighting with Vengeance internally for a long time, in much the same way that Heimrich has been faced with having to fight Victor. Heimrich lost himself to his inner demon, completely, and was only brought back and saved through the power of boners and Atticus hacks. He then had to train hard in a nigh-unknown art of unparalleled bodily control all in the name of keeping control of himself and, more importantly, Victor. Victors take over was sudden and fast acting. Panning over to Duncan's struggle, his was there for a long time and largely dormant. It was slow, gradual, and after a long struggle suddenly took full scale take over.

With what little capacity for self awareness Heimrich had while controlled by Heimrich, he only wished for his death, which Duncan fought HARD to do. Duncan was actively trying to kill Heimrich in both their original and second fight. Did he like it? No, he didn't want to, but it's what he had to do and he tried. Heimrich now faces that same choice. Duncan has lost his fight and would rather die than live like this, even if it is only through the usage of his body. Heimrich knows this, Sam knows this, Scotti knows this, EVERYONE knows Duncan would rather die than exist in that capacity. Heimrich can relate to Duncan in ways that few people ever could and knows what it's like to lose yourself to a monster that's not even you, but someone or something else inside of you that you can't control. Heimrich doesn't take joy in this, he doesn't like this, he's simply distancing himself from that idea that Duncan can still be saved because in Heimrich's eyes...he can't now. He's too far gone. The same choice that Duncan made before. By distancing himself from thinking Duncan can be saved, he can more freely do what he has to do, as he's not thinking about saving Duncan. He's not thinking about killing him. To him, Duncan is already dead and gone, and he's bringing the same fate to the being responsible.

Typed quickly before I went to work, so I hope that makes sense. Again, that's just my take away.

Well when you put it that way. Heimrich does have an understanding of Duncan's situation that no one else could. Though I'm gonna wait or more on this since its still interesting to see this from another perspective

Storytale Universe

Things have been quite peaceful ever since Lucas was defeated by Ray, Nexus, Justice, and Marcus there was never another threat to this peace. Humans and Monsters continued to co-exist working together to make a better future.

Outside the city of New Home a pile of cards started to form a body after the cards formed a dark energy of chaos and insanity thus the cards soon became flesh and clothed thus Jestress has arrived in this universe.

"Awwww this sucks!" Jestress said as her jester hat went from up to down in disapointment.

"I was hoping this universe would be 8-Bit! Like how I saw it in that orb man such a shame I was hoping I would be in 8-Bit form."

After talking to herself like she usually does out loud she pulls out two cards and looked at them the two cards showed Ray and Nexus's picture. These were the two coded mortal souls, Soul King wanted.

"Hmmm these two should be easy to find, but I'm going to take my sweet time! I want to see how a coded universe can handle chaos and insanity!" Jestress said as she made the two cards disappear.

Before she could start anything a group of kids from both races ran up to her excited.

"Are you a clown?!" A Monster Child asked.

"Are you a magician?!" A Human Child asked.

Jestress looked at the group of kids with a smile maybe she'll entertain these kids for a bit before she does her thing.

"Hehehe~ Well kids can a clown and a magican do this?" Jestress asked as she summoned a bunch of cards they began to form and take a shape of a dog with a snap of a finger the cards become a real dog and Jestress catches it in her arms.

"Ta-Da! I just turned a pile of cards into a living breathing puppy!" Jestress said as she set the puppy down as the kids started playing with it.

"Wow that was awesome! Can you do more tricks like that?" Another Monster Child asked.

"Of course I can! I can do anything!" Jestress said as she started doing more tricks.

Save Screen

Lucas watched as this new stranger entered the game universe entertaining a group of children. Lucas could sense some type of Divine Energy from this woman and he was curious on why a God would be here in this universe. The last time a Divine being came here was when he summoned Soul King to give him the power to try and destroy this universe.

Ah, how those times have changed for Lucas after being stuck here with Marcus for five years Lucas was regretting his actions maybe this was the Creator's punishment for almost destroying this universe's code or did the Creator send him to this save screen to redeem himself?

Lucas sighed as he got distracted by his own thoughts again and kept watching the strange Goddess entertain the group of children.

The portal closed soon after. Though now with everyone enjoying themselves with their new realisation of how strong fusion can be. All the commotion with future Sabi would be unhindered seeing as the danger had finally passed.

"So what brings you here Sabi? Dyph has already warned us about the Demon Witches." Nano said.

"While that may be true I am only here to make sure every thing goes right in this timeline and make sure nothing unexpected happens." Future Sabi said.

"And that Masked Saiyan woman never showed up in our timeline which is very troubling. I will be staying here in this timeline despite your future self telling me I shouldn't be here, but I'm making sure nothing bad ever happens to this timeline." Future Sabi said.

"Well now I know what your going to act like when you grow in this timeline." Nano said chuckling.

Future Sabi laughed a little as she rubbed the back of her head.

"Well I do have almost every Saiyan Warrior's DNA inside me, so being a rebel is in my blood." Future Sabi said.

"Anyway you should go meet with the others I will be keeping an eye out for those demon witches!" And with that Future Sabi flew off leaving Nano alone before she too left the scene and went flying towards Jane's house.

Jane's House

"Welcome back Nano! Did you find those Demon Witches?" Aylote asked as Nano entered the meeting room.

"Sadly no they keep disappearing after using a masked Saiyan woman to as a distraction..." Nano said.

"Great more Saiyans are working for them?" Erkin asked.

"You don't think those Demon Witches managed to mind control all of Planet Vegeta did they?" Kali asked.

"Mind Controlling a entire planet is impossible... You'll need a large ship or something..." Jane said.

Storytale Universe
New Home

Jestress kept enertaining the group of Monster and Human children doing a lot of magic tricks with her cards as the children cheered and clapped for each magic trick she did. Not to far away from the group of children and Jestress three figures were walking nearby talking to each other these three were Ray, Nexus and Justice talking.

"So Nex how's Elizabeth and Alx doing?" Justice asked.

"They'll doing well, Elizabeth is expecting a baby within three months." Nexus said smiling a bit.

"Wow Nex, look at you becoming a grandpa!" A 23 year old Ray said smiling at her Monster friend.

"Yeah I was surprised when she told me and to be honest with you I am happy for her and Alx... After everything that has happened in the past I was worried those two would never get a chance to settle down and have a real family." Nexus said.

"I understand I mean you guys were trapped underground, that Chaos person appearing, Anti almost destroying all of us and finally that whole Lucas mess." Justice said as he sighed in sadness remembering how Marcus and Kindness gave up their lives to keep the peace between Monsters and Humans.

"If only Marcus and Kindness were here to see what we have done."

"I'm sure they are looking down at us smiling from the afterlife." Ray said.

Though that was a lie after the whole Lucas thing only Ray and Nexus know their universe was just a... Game and that Marcus was just a line of code like everyone else was.

"Hey no need to be down... Let's go see that clown over there." Nexus said trying to change the topic.

Both Ray and Justice nodded as they followed Nexus to where Jestress was.

ZOCOM wrote:The transforming Vengeance was quickly being consumed by the ivory mass that flooded over his body, only stretching further and further as this seemingly bottomless wellspring of hatred lets him dig more and more eagerly into it. Though It started to The colour of his hair started to turn the same ivory white while a second wing joined the other demonic white wing that was now presently on his back. Though the bone band on his face no longer covered his mouth or nose as it all moved to completely cover his left eye, the only remnant left of Duncan that was visible on the body that ascended further down this path of heretical divinity. Though Heimrich dodging out of the way only forced the beast to dig that much deeper to try and kill him.

Though it all still looked like a beastial mass forming over his humanoid form, the beast lost sight of Heimrich as he used his own instant teleport to get back to his feet away from him. Once he reappeared, Vengeance's head swivels unnaturally to see where Heimrich teleported just in time for his body to be bombarded by the bolts he had been evading and now being sliced apart by the green lines that Heimrich had conjured to wound and bleed him. The bolts and cutting lines sliced and blew him apart only serving to spin and blast the beast as it tried to catch its footing, clawed toes crunching into the ground before fanatical eyes glue to the boy. Those blasts were barely enough to annoy him much less hurt him like he was now. The spear fading as it threw it's hand out as a blade similar to Duncan’s family blade appear made of steel like it originally was before Heimrich broke the blade. Everything down to the finish was exact. The blade reforged like it was never destroyed, but using none of the original pieces.

Using its instantaneous teleportation Wrathful Vengeance swung the blade that Heimrich destroyed down to chop the young Mentat in two. “I really don’t need to dig too deep to kill you Heimrich!” Vengeance was starting to get faster in his interceptions of Heimrich, slicing faster and closer than he may like “You shattered the very sword that he treasured more than anything. The last little piece of his father he had left!” It sneered with wild eyes as it brought its blade down yet again to try and cleave Heimrich in two “And you stole that away from him. And he felt such glorious hatred for you~ He wanted nothing more than to rip the spine from your body and use it to strangle you with it!

Clearly Vengeance was starting to become more coherent again, shame, at least he shut up when he was mindlessly trying to rip Heimrich in the brief intervals of screaming his lungs out like a psychopath.

\\Inside Duncan’s mind//

The large grawled stone cross, held together by rusty chains binding the fading body of the Cross… Stood alone against a sea of tar like emotions that had already crawled and stuck to the crucified host… The last remnants of him drowning under the surface as all he could feel was the slashes, the twinges in his muscles, the blasts tearing flesh from bone, the dulling sense of pain as only lust for revenge flooded forward. There was no saving himself this time… There was no magic word to bring him back from the brink. No secret spell in place to inhibit Vengeance. Not lucky break that will let him see everyone again…

So this is it huh… I… I wanted to do so much more… I… At least everyone will find my notes after this… And Heimrich is so strong… He regained his humanity and he lived… He even gets the girl…

The young knight lay there, motionless in the depths of that tar black ocean that swept him and his cross down, as it only sank deeper, as more of Vengeance’s rage bubbled endlessly to the surface.

That’s not fair… I think I finally found mine and this is where it ends… I die. I leave my sister behind, I leave Felix behind… I leave… Scotti… I… But I don’t want to go… I… Who… Am… Where... It wasn’t much longer now… Soon enough there would be nothing left of Duncan. Everyone could see it in his soul, the last yellow dots were being swallowed up in that ocean of thick black ooze of negative emotions that Vengeance was living on. There was nothing left to save...

Please...

The voice wasn't his own, nor did he know where it came from, but the emotions behind it, love and fear, he understood well. Using these foreign emotions to aide him, he twists his body once again to avoid a vertical slice. But by now he is outclassed in pure speed. The level that Vengeance can tap into now inside this realm he has created is rapidly growing beyond his own physical limits. But now he had the hopes of another resting on his shoulders. Heimrich would use them in a very literal sense. The emotions of the mental plea flow through him, the desperation of another giving his aura an overcharge as his hand raises, barely a fingertip grazing the reconstructed blade of a vengeful sword. A fingertip is enough as his aura collects in the tiny patch of skin that touches the blade and deflects it, changing its arc just enough that it arcs past Heimrich's eyes locked glaring at Vengeance, sharp as the lightning that glows within as it slices the tip of his nose instead of his head in half.

He uses the emotions of whoever was distraught enough that their thoughts outshone everyone elses, but they don't know what he knows. Duncan is long gone.

... He has to be.

Please, save him!

His teeth clench as he is forced to repeat his deflect against another instant attack, again and again as both combatants grow faster as they test their limits.

His teeth clench as he is forced to repeat his deflect against another instant attack, again and again as both combatants grow faster as they test their limits.

Albus met Heimrich's gaze, he knew what the boy was thinking of his 'absence' and frankly the boy knew nothing of what he has done to try and halt, ney free his nephew from the hell that was unjustly thrusted upon him. But hearing that his nephew was already gone, that he was no more. A dstaught look swept across his face "N-NO! That can't be true, t-there has to be a way to save him.. I can't... I can't lose him..." Albus looked to Heimrich as if he was strage for the weird comment of his. Though the force beyond Duncan certainly heard what the human had to say, though neither party would answer him.

Back with Vengeance in his domain, the fight between him and Heimrich escalates as the soul of Duncan is finally swallowed whole by his inner demon, though as blade clashed against finger whispered pleas started to reverberate in the monsters mind. Pleas from people around them and beyond. Though one voice stood out above the rest as his eyes bore into the face of his enemy, the boy that he wanted nothing more than to gut him where he stood. His eyes met the locked glare of Heimrich's as the blade arcs past him in his deflection, a block that leads to more and more high speed deflections.

The ascending monster pushed down such pleas, for he had no need for them. Not that they would do any good for anyone now. For he had conquered the knight in body and soul! With a look of pure fanatic glee the monster swung his sword down straight for Heimrich's head As he moved his tail to wrap around the lads arm to keep him from fleeing easily. As the plea grew louder in his head, as the blade swung down-!

Hearing that plea, the voice that shined brighter than any other. Hearing the emotions behind it. As the beast pushed them down, pushing them down so it could ignore them, its victory was more important now than any plea it could hear. There was only one other that could hear this plea... The husk left behind from conquest. Hearing this voice, something started to resonate as he heard the outcries of desperation and more.

<Who's crying...>

A single shrill voice rang through the Monsters head, eve echoing through the realm itself as a look of fear and shock washed over the face of Vengeance, as the blade shattered just short of Heimrich's head. Sand is all that would fall on the head of the distant friend as the monster instantly teleported back to the edge of his domain. Vengeance was erratic, frantically looking for a reason as to why he just heard the voice of the conquered in HIS realm. "That's impossible. It's impossible... IT'S IMPOSSIBLE!"

<I can't see... Who's crying...>

"Shut up!! WHY are you talking now!? How are you just talking now!?" The beast screamed as he swung around the bladeless handle for the reconstructed blade at the building columns of cloud that formed around him before he looked to Heimrich with bloodshot eyes "YOU! All these pleas I hear are for YOU to save HIM! And now he's not shutting up!" Tossing the broken blade aside, the monster brings his arm out with another grabbing hold at the forearm, a sudden arc of red energy crackles up his arm as his eyes screamed nothing but frantic fury and worry. "I WON'T LET YOU WIN, NOT WHEN I'VE FINALLY WON!!" Without worry of injuring himself, moreso out of not caring, Vengeance unleashed a full powered attack that he drew from his domain, a bam of flickering crimson that was aimed straight at Heimrich.

If they had access to that they'd need alot of resources for sure... But I doubt they took all off planet Vegeta. All the people there have high power levels while we have a mixed bag of fighting powers. It would be easier to take us then it would to outright conquer planet Vegeta... OOC: Apologies again on my extended absence, again. Is anything waiting on me? I can't remember, other than Jacob and the Blazehearts. Will try to dig that up shortly. Not sure if it's apt to put a thing in for Sam during the rematch at the moment.

BIC: It was true, Jacob was pretty unaware of how the Blazehearts ran things. So hearing this was news to him, not that he had much time to process it as Pearle's sister Iris called them both out. Seeing both barrels, most likely empty, there beside her as he was pretty astonished that she actually looked drunk this time. Getting called out by the nickname she gave him he couldn't help but bow in a gentleman's fashion before smiling up to her "I didn't know I was late. I'm terribly sorry about my tardiness miss Iris"

"Don't encourage her." Pearle utters, under an exasperated sigh. "That's the second to last thing that girl needs." As she says that the rest of the beach shore comes properly into view, revealing several more emptied barrels formerly filled with alcohol strewn around the nearby sands. The sight of this seems to even mildly surprise Pearle for once.

"Right after more alcohol......she hasn't even been here that long."

"Oh come on, don't b-hiccup-be like that sis!" Iris lowers her waving hand and slaps herself lightly in the face a few times before running in place, clearly getting herself pumped up. After some seconds of doing this she just throws her arms out to her side and lets herself fall onto her back, smiling ear to ear. As Iris falls willingly onto her back her elder sister and Jacob have now reached within several feet of her and stop, Pearle now just grabbing the bridge of her nose and closing her eyes.

Reaching the beach to find even more barrels that Iris finished all by herself, in truth he was pretty impressed that she finished all these in such short a time. "I wonder where she got all of this from. Someone had to help her haul of this here. Either way I'm super impressed" He says before he watched Iris try to rev herself up with afew slaps to her face and falling flat on her back.

Jacob leaned over with a smile and a quirk of his eyebrow, the aroma of alcohol was pretty strong now that they were standing pretty close to Iris and her empty barrels "You okay down there? Enjoying the sun and sand?"
