If I didn't mention you I'm extremely bad at names so I forgot a lot of ppl💔💔

Burgundy-Belgium wrote:But seriously, would any of you miss anyone else on here? Would [natin]Tungstan[/nation] miss [natin]Liberza[/nation] if they stopped coming to NationStates?

Of course. I've made friends on NS and it hurts when they leave. I miss Mhaul, and I'd miss anyone else who disappeared.

You mean Syndicasia? What about me? :(

Aw thanks

I would miss basically everyone

Mhaul left?! When?!

Shout out to the sun.
A real goat.

Arctic Lands wrote:You can use our peninteary facilities for housing dissidents! To combat reaction in this capitalist world, it's important to make sure that relevant propaganda doesn't spread.

Our Siberian camps provide high-quality casernes with all necessary amenities installed. Detainees are given food thrice a day, with diet tailored to individual health conditions and preferences (such as allergies or vegetarianism). Dissidents have a special place in our peninteary system and are housed separately from dangerous criminals and are not subjected to hard labor, instead engaging in lighter work such as sewing or printing newspapers (in which they are allowed to express their views). Readings and debates of various character occur on the regular basis, with Party officials visiting inmates to communicate Marxist values to them and receive a feedback on the state affairs, about which detainees are regularly and fully informed.

The goal of this system is not to punish the dissidents, but to shield the general population from their deceptive views. Please note that we do not send everyone who disagrees there, but only those who systemically engage in spreading outright counter-revolutionary bourgeois propaganda.

Arctic Lands wrote:Well, re-education isn't the point either, although it is the case that a noticeable fraction of former labor camp inmates end up changing their views. That is primarily to regularly hosted history lessons with an addition of decent treatment, which contradicts most liberals' pre-established belief in horrendous conditions within our peninteary facilities. As for sentence length, we don't have ones. Instead, we institute either a labor plan, upon the completion of which the inmate is released (only applicable to petty criminals like vandals, not dissidents), or replace the sentence length with general behavioral assessment, which allows us to adjust the rehabilitation plan to the inmates' individual peculiarities.

What do you guys think of our labor camps?

Screw the sun. I hate it. Damn thing is too bright. Maybe stop shining your damn light in my room so much, it gets very annoying.
Burn the sun.

I would miss Angevin, Tungstan, Arctic and Syndicasia if they decided to quit NationStates. They're good friends.

...despite my many disagreements with Arctic and Syndi.

Burn the sun.

I have good news for you! The sun has been burning for the past 4.6 billion years and will burn for billions of years to come!

Did she really quit?

That seems a bit dangerous. I hope it hasn't caught anything else on fire.

Humans have been harnessing the power of the sun using curved glass to impose divine punishment upon ants unfaithful to their colonies.

Kreushia wrote:gonna quit nationstates now

That's a joke right

Not billions, trillions.

Tungstan wrote:I have a haiku (again) (sorry):
Dawn breaks, we move on
Lights our way, and we move on
Today, we move on
And a tanka too:
Despite the past costs
And the allies we've all lost
We keep moving on
And keep on singing our costs
To remember all the lost

Amazing

Well, doesn't that seem impolite. How rude.

Cyptopir wrote:Not billions, trillions.

No, those are billions. I've checked before posting and rechecked just now.

Hello. It's been a while.
