Discord isn't the most convenient for the user.
It is more active there because people there are more active on average then here.
I call discord just like animal crossing bc there are WAYYYYYYY too many preventions against bots its not even funny like why tf should you have to do a verification test for like a week just to be verified within a channel?
Our verification test iirc is just you popping up and linking your nation. That's it.
Of course, that's assuming you're just like a normal joiner and not something...weird.

Disagree with this - the Nationstates site is not well set at all up to handle most government activities and running everything through here would be much, much more difficult. Plus, there's a multitude of benefits to Discord, including notifications, multiple channels, etc.
Discord is a marker between those of the ruling class and those of the reject class.
