I’m thinking Dragonroost. Since AEC would be trying to break into your market, having a budding superstar on the roster would help. Taking on a new major sponsor would also leave them flush with cash to hopefully get in win-now mode, etc. I just didn’t want to be seen as... sort of like Chevrolet sponsoring United, y’know?

I gotcha lol. I wouldn't worry too much about it, as there really is no United equivalent in Ru. The closest is Syllerath, since they have the most championships at 16 and have been right in the thick of the playoffs for most of the league's history. Or Oceanside, which dominated the 1990s and holds the record for most consecutive championships. Or perhaps New Ru, which despite it's relative lack of success, owns the largest media market. But even these teams have been limited by the league's salary cap structure and draft.

As far as Dragonroost goes, it's the 2nd newest team in the league and has just recently gotten out of the early rough period typical of expansion teams and is now starting to compete at a high level. A new stadium could add some prestige to the team, and would make the team more of a free agent destination. At the least it would help their efforts to convince Mulligan not to jump ship when his contract expires. They are a young team whose current players have potential to improve. Perhaps the deal will make them aggressive in the international market. (Teams can get a cap exception for one international player at a time, to encourage international signings and interest in the league)

I think they could be who you are looking for.

That’s precisely what I want. A big partnership would be good for the league in general, extending the brand outside its home country.

And if AMW is able to develop a market for premium cars and trucks, it all basically pays for itself

Great! let's do it then. So the new stadium would be something like AMW Stadium/Field/Arena/Colosseum. Do you have a preference for the exact name or should I pick it?

Whatever you want buddy. As long as it has AMW in it.

Do you think your country would buy a lot of SUVs and trucks, or do you think they’re more into performance?

there are alot of rural areas in Ru, so I think there'd be a strong market for that. Ru is a big car market so you can't go wrong with performance cars as well.

AMW’s lineup would look a lot like what Chevrolet sells in the States, only the Impala would be a RWD 500 hp beast 😙

Would motorcycles find fans in Ru?

I'd think so, seems like the kind of thing Ruvians would go for.

Then please note perimeter advertising boards and sponsorship deals (smaller ones, admittedly), for Gabha Motorcycles and Bicíní Industries. One builds Motorcycles, the other makes clothing, with swimwear being a speciality.

sounds good to me!

Awesome! Gabha Motorcycle's expanding and so is Bicíní Industries. A beautiful night, indeed.

Both companies are also welcome to expand onto the Lillo market - motorcycles are a thing in the FL, too.

Gabha seems to be a bigger corporation with several groups - or is it a coincidence that there's also an arms manufacturer called Gabha? ^^

There are quite a few branches floating around, yes, all of them in the hands of family members. Gabha Motorcycles, for example, belongs to an Uncle of the CEO of Blacksmiths. They are, however, in most cases independent companies.
I'd be happy to have them expand. Who knows, maybe a certain Selkie-Maiden discovers, that one can not only ride horses? ; )

One big family controlling the Fortune 500, I see ;)
(We got similar structures in the FL - not generally, but it's extreme in some places.)
I'm imagining a certain Selkie-Maiden coming by ferry with a motorcycle. And being totally confused by the Lillo road system. ;)

Well, not one. It's a handful, actually.
Most likely going to happen. "What, there are rules to it, officer? Where I come from, you're fine as long as you don't run someone over!"

A handful is still not many. ;)
Most likely some calm, chilled explanation without getting loud ... "Dammit, this is a speedway! A Federal Highway! You're not allowed to use the emergency lane for overtaking! And use your damn blinkers! And, sweetness and mercy, you're not allowed to turn around on a highway when you notice you've missed your damn exit! *sighs* "Okay, so, for beginners: this is a road ..." *thinks 'I love foreigners ...'*

No, not really. But it works splendidly. The Banphrionsa-Family, who Gabha belongs to, the Cathlongs with SDY and subsidiaries, the Drisiúrs with Bicíní and Áilleagán (which was actually Banphrionsa once, but that's another story), two more I have yet to figure out.

With us, it depends on the place. There are cities and regions where business is broadly diverse and sneaking into is easy - but there are also some places where you may feel free to forget about ever getting into business, unless you have a certain last name.
"No sh... excrements, Sherlock - I've already figured! You're from one of these countries were licenses are issued as soon as you're big enough to enter a vehicle." *sighs again* "Alright, gonna keep it with a warning for this time. But next time it's gonna get expensive!"

With us, it depends on the business you want to enter. Nice if you want to build ships - SDY is going give you a few pointers. Nice if you want to enter the clothes business - Bicíní would like to have a few words. Although, the clothes business is a bit more diverse: Bicíní is only the main provider for 'Foreign Dress' and swimwear, while traditional clothing and work clothing is usually made by more local tailors and to measure.
"Thanks, officer." *puts license away, zips overall up again* "Have a nice day!"

Of course, this is a point, too. Though, Lillo business has always tended to form clusters - so wherever you are, you might tend to find one or two certain types of business more prevalent than others. And of course, the market situation gets into this, too. Actually there's a number of factors taking influence on what it looks like.
"Hopefully ..."
And situations like this one are the reason why many traffic cops tend to have a less positive view on tourists from abroad ;)

And here we transcent the "Lawl, I makez gunz!" part of NS and enter the real economics behind our nations. It would indeed be interesting to make up matrixes of that and to work it all out, but I'm a historian, Jim, not an economist...

I can imagine. But the nice traffic cop is going to leave a good impression on the tourist. ; )

Indeed. I spend quite a couple of thoughts on what the economy of my nation might work like - despite not having a lot of plan about it. I use the traces of knowledge I have to try to gain at least some imagination ... I'm an expert on the studies of expressing bullcrap in numerous different variations, not an economist, either. ^^

To be honest, even if that mysterious Selkie-Maiden gets through the traffic rules, orientation will still be another issue. Our road system may be ever so logical - it will be hard to get through for someone who can barely tell the difference between an emergency lane and an acceleration lane ;)

Yes, that sounds familiar. The Free Lands and their economic system of Selkie-Mercantilism harken back to the olden days of me starting on NS, when I was young and naive.

One can always take a motorcycle over the pedestrian lane... pushing it, of course. At 150 kmh.

Indeed, the Selkie generally seem to have a "never touch a running system" attitude at quite a couple of points ;) Though, it doesn't always have to be bad. Some even have their advantages.

Sure! Especially because an Autobahn often tends to have a pedestrian lane. No one knew.
