The Soviet forces split into smaller groups, they set up camp for the night the next day they will Recon the fishing Village, by the next day a Soviet Recon team of four people, observed the small fishing Village specifically looking at the locals and the current technology being used, the Soviets figure out that they are a tier 1 civilization... meaning they possess modern technology of the Soviets reality... however it is nothing compared to the Soviet Union's military Tech as far as they know... the Recon team reports back to the camp, and the Soviets decide to prepare to go look for some technology to bring back

A few days have passed and the arctic winds have calmed enough for a team of Nordamerrikan Scientist and select military personnel to investigate. Upon arrival the small detachment of troops spread out over the horizon and establish camp. Off in the distance they managed to spot the local fishing village where the energy surge came from. The scientists and troops dress themselves in nuclear hazmat suits and begin to approach the village
