No problem, this contest will be celebrated every month
Thank you for your interest in SEC Fanatics! I shall attempt to answer your questions.
May I boldly ask if this region is related to the old SECFanatics region?
That old region is now the property of The Black Hawks and this region has no relations to it.Is the old founder involved?
YesThanks for replies and good luck with the new region!
Thank you!
May The Embassy continue to expand its diplomatic network, secure from any raiders.

Alabama will probably have a pretty good run this year. My guess is they'll win the west and confrence (vs. Florida). Then play Clemson in the championship game if things stay as they were supposed to.
SEC Finishes:
East:
1. Florida
2. Georgia
3. Tennessee
4. South Carolina
5. Missouri
6. Kentucky
7. Vandy
West:
1. Alabama
2. Auburn
3. A&M
4. LSU
5. Ole Miss
6. Miss St.
7. Arkansas
CFP (If everyone plays normally):
1. Ohio State
2. Alabama
3. Clemson
4. Oregon (probably not happening now)
There's still a chance for CSU @ Alabama Week 1...
On another note, with the Pac-12 eliminating non-conference games, that means that the Rocky Mountain Showdown (CU Boulder vs CSU) in Fort Collins is canceled for this year. Wouldn't be a huge deal, except that the rivalry series wasn't renewed, and the next game between us is in 2023...
That'll extend the current 5-loss streak to 9 years. Ouch.
Use your contacts at CSU to promote that possibility. Alabama needs a new opener now that the game with Southern Cal is off the board. PAC 12 teams seem to be taking the pandemic as an opportunity to hide from their difficult non-conference opponents!
By the way, I saw that you were an officer in SECFanatics Reborn. You should not lose influence by coming here. Therefore, I am making you a regional official. Serve us well!
hmmm i am more of a soccer person can i still be here?
I am happy to see that Colorado State Football is now an honorary member of the SEC! Now the next question is do you think we win any conference games at all? ;)
Jokes aside, I didn't ask or really want to be an officer there, I moved there because I didn't really know where else to put this nation, and when it became really inactive and didn't have you in it I resigned my spot and stopped logging in. It's no big deal if you want to keep me as an officer, but this won't ever be my main nation, I've got other more prominent nations that I'm more involved with than this. I won't mind if you remove me from the Head Officer spot.

Certainly you can! Believe it or not, the SEC teams actually play Soccer. You just will not see the same attendance for those games as you would for football.
Nonsense! You deserve to be a government official.
Thank you for keeping us informed.

I emailed Joe Parker, the Colorado State Athletic director, and he says that while he was in contact with Alabama they have another school in mind for week 1. He mentioned that if the first choice school doesn't work they will circle back around to CSU.
A big bummer for sure, I really hope that the first school doesn't work and my dream of CSU vs Alabama happens.

Thank you!
We appreciate the update on your region. Please keep us informed of any future news.
Greetings from 1980s America!
Now I have a question: What the hell is everyone's problem with "Embassy Collectors"?
Some people think they're spammers. Embassies can be interpreted by some as being valuable, being the only game mechanic that signifies friendship between two regions. So having tons of those devalues the meaning behind having a regional embassy.
But at the same time, it's also the only game mechanic that allows other nations to post on our RMB without having to move a puppet in, which is the SECFanatics view ;)
It also attracts raiders, especially if you have embassies with fascist regions. Or embassies with regions who have embassies with fascist regions. And so on. On second thought, raiders are just stupid and attack everything that moves.
Most raiders watch for regions with absent founders or regions where the founder has recently ceased to exist. Then they move quickly to put one of their own nations into the WA Delegate position before the remaining regional officers can impose a password, or eject and ban the invading nations. Embassy collector regions are targets of opportunity for raiders because the vast embassy network ensures that the raid will be noticed in other regions.
No news on the CFB front...
Looks like the SEC is playing a 10 game confrence schedule. The two extra games appear to be the crossover opponents that should've been for 2021 and 2022. For Tennessee it would be Ole Miss and @LSU.
