Ok, well if you have any major events in mind (or even minor events that stand out to you), please do post them here. This region has the advantage of retaining a number of their members from the early days, so there is likely a good deal of "institutional memory" between you folks.

I will start a text document and begin collecting folks' recollections, and attempting to fit them into a chronology based, for now, around that list of delegates. But hopefully, in the future, it will have its own timeline.

Dorig wrote:My vote on the flags is #2, but I think the selection on teh whole is good all around. I less prefer the flags with more cartoon-y penguins in them, though.

Would you characterize the current version of the flag as "more cartoon-y"? Would you prefer there to be only the sun, or just that one specific penguin silhouette that looks the most realistic?

Ah, thank you for the manual, which I can only assume you linked for me in the hope that I may learn how to avoid future assassination attempts. Very thoughtful of you.

Densaner wrote:Ps. Just had another look at the Hall of Delegates. A number of the term dates, such as my illegal term that lasted 2 days, marked as running for nearly 12 months etc.

I think there was a good deal of interpolation from the available information that went into creating that dispatch. So any good info that you may have would be welcome.

Which of your terms was the "illegal" one? If I had to guess, it would be #12, though that would mark your very first delegacy as having been born beneath dark clouds :P

Johan placed an 'X' before the delegacies of raiders, as well as some other fluke-terms (such as Holly taking over temporarily, following the MW scandal, as well as Lep's brief stint as 'Supreme Leader' when something went wrong with the endos during Johan's term). Should there be an 'X' for your coups, do you think?

Iggly iggle wrote:The colours have been made pastel.

Nice, I think I like the rainbow better in those pastel tones. All in all, that's a pretty cool flag you've got, there.

Yep, that was the exact reason, we still live in a dangerous world. 🔫

No, that would be no. 16. No. 12 was weird, also my first period as delegate. Someone CTE and I became delegate. I had no interest in the job at the time, so I resigned from the UN as it then was after a couple of days.

Coup, singular. I merely removed my endo from Lep the other time as he wasn’t playing by the rules in not calling an election. Yes an X is useful in identifying non elected or otherwise abnormal delegate terms.

Alright, thanks for the clarifications. I'll try to see what changes I can make on that doc and, fail that, will notify Johan to change his dispatch. Though, before I do that, were there other mistakes you noticed in the doc?

What about these two flags? Are they legitimate regional flags, or raider flags?

Also, Lingang, what's the deal with this version of your flag? Is it a real flag, or just something that was up temporarily for fun but was caught by the "snapshot" of the regional flag?

Tell him to proof read the dates versus the number of days quoted, there’s a couple of errors elsewhere.

The first one is a raider flag. The second one is the flag of Croatia. I changed the regional flag to Croatia as I was supporting them in the 2018 World Cup.

That was a faux military ribbon created for those who lived through the occupation caused by the traitor Kyal.

Alright, I'll see if I can suss out the inconsistencies. And thanks for the info on those other flags.

First run at collecting the flags of the region. If anyone has any suggestions, or know of other flags that may still be floating around, feel free to link them.

(Should I size down the ones that are bigger? They look worse the smaller they get, but the other flags don't have file sizes any larger than that which is shown)

This should be a better version of the first flag -

Densaner wrote:This should be a better version of the first flag -

Nice, thanks. Did you just do a reverse image search?...because that seems now to be the obvious solution to that, don't know why I didn't think of that first.

Also, I remembered that Lep shared his two designs on discord, so I was able to add another, as well as recover a larger version of the other. Den, if you don't have a larger file size, I'm pretty sure I would be able to recreate it, since it's such a simple design. Unless you just don't care about the size of the file in there...

Welcome to the region, Bomoko.

Please make yourself at home, pull up a lounge chair, help yourself to an offshore bank account.

Panther wrote:Nice, thanks. Did you just do a reverse image search?

Yep, sure did. The other regional flag I can remember is here -

nation=south_pacific

Densaner wrote:Yep, sure did. The other regional flag I can remember is here -

Forgot about your south pacific nation. Thanks.

Now we've got all the flags the larger size except Lingang's and my penguin flag that replaced my wolf design. Lingang may have a larger size, but I definitely don't have a larger one after my computer crash.

Did folks like Trevor and Paladinsanity and Siorta have their own flags?

Indeed, that was a raider ribbon they used to gloat amongst themselves about occupying us.

Also yeah, I may have a larger version of the flag. I’ll need to hop on my old laptop to get it though.

There are as of current about 78 million citizens in Rivierenland, but just like in every other country on the planet, there is bound to be a bit that isn't allowed to vote. In this case, this ineligible population comprises of about 17 million people (21,79% of the total population) This leaves about 61 Million eligible citizens to vote, but the reality is that there were less than that amount who showed up to vote. Like in every country, there's a share of citizens who don't bother to show up at polling stations, which in this case of Rivierenland comprises out of 4,5 million people who didn't vote (5,77% of the total population). This would leave about 56,5 citizens who voted, but some of the votes were illegal and thus not counted. About 1,5 million of the votes in this election were illegal (1,92% of the total population). This leaves 55 million votes (70,51% of the total population). listed below are the total votes out of every Rivierenlander electorate combined. These are the results of the elections for Prime Minister. The incumbent is Eleanor Cohen and she'll be running for her fourth term. All parties currently in parliament participate in the elections, as well as some parties with zero representation within the parliament. The election results were released on the 03 July 2020

What do you think of my new dispatch? (and yes, election season has indeed just ended in Rivierenland)

Lingang wrote:Also yeah, I may have a larger version of the flag. I’ll need to hop on my old laptop to get it though.

Groovy, thanks. But no hurry at all...I know well the effort required to go dig up an old computer and root through its sad, obsolete remains.

Rivierenland wrote:What do you think of my new dispatch? (and yes, election season has indeed just ended in Rivierenland)

Very official looking and well put together. The table and graphic are nicely done.

My only criticism would be that your prime minister is far too attractive. Everyone knows politicians are a hideous class of trollish brutes and withered hags who lurk in dank caves only to emerge every few years to feed on our young.

Panther wrote:Did folks like Trevor and Paladinsanity and Siorta have their own flags?

Trev was delegate long before flags were a thing. Going by the dates it looks like Siorta and Paladinsanity kept my languid beach pic.

The best part is that she looks like a 21 year old while she's almost 40

Also, thanks for the feedback!
