Mostly, just a stray thought I had regarding the Flight superpower and bugs. So I began thinking of fun downsides to other common superpowers. I could've just left it as another random list in a word doc, but thought it might work as a poll, a regional mechanic I almost never utilize.

Wow, that would really be something. But what makes you think that will be the case? I have a pretty limited understanding of succession over there, but I'd assumed William and Kate were being pretty successfully groomed for the role...unless you think they would also abdicate?

Really, though, if the House of Windsor fails to continue the monarchy over there, with none of the heirs being willing to accept the crown, well that sounds to me like the recipe for one of Europe's oldest traditions: the War of Succession! It's great fun, really. You see, all of the remaining European royal houses would begin churning out spurious genealogical claims asserting their own rightful place to inherit the crown. Then, there's usually a great big ol' war to cap off the whole affair. The pope usually gets involved. Great alliances are often forged in such a crucible, while existing ones find themselves broken on the wheel of power. In the end, it feels like everyone lost (especially the Italians) and nothing was really settled. Oh! 'twill be a grand time at the ole War of British Succession...

Ol' Chuck is next in line, and believe me, he won't spurn it. The sooner we're rid of the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha clan, the better.

Welcome to the region Plauque

Please help yourself to a complimentary island drink from our regional tiki bar, then kick back and relax on one our beaches. They're a great place to watch the friendly[citation needed] locals go by.

As you are a World Assembly member, here is a dispatch explaining some things to do with that. Feel free to reach out with any further questions, though. And this is a handy tool to aid in endorsing other WA members in the region:

From what I've seen and heard from my conversations with friends from England, there is a growing discontent with and resentment of the royals. When the masses break out the torches, pitchforks, tar, and feathers remains to be seen, but I believe that it will be in my lifetime. As Den said...
