Thanks for establishing embassies with us! I hope that we will have a long and prosperous diplomatic relationship!

So, once a year I basically remember this place exists and need to reactivate my nation, and move it BACK into the atheist empire. Hi, again!

Sorry for being gone for most of two years now (I wasn't really active back then, either, but I'm trying to be better now).

It's alright :)

Don't worry about it. The region may shrink, it might grow, but we're going to stick around.

And hey, as a point of discussion on this very slow RMB, what are everyone's thoughts on the Rights of the Employed previously at vote in the WA? I personally can't support it. The ideas themselves are good, and ones I think should be enacted, but the wording of the law leaves far too much wiggle room and areas to dispute. The section that decided it for me was section E.(1) and E.(2)

Arutiise wrote:

1. shall have the right to claim at least eight weeks of parental leave, during which they must receive their full expected wage from their employer, upon childbirth or adoption of a child below the age of majority;

2. shall have the right to claim at least four weeks of this parental leave after childbirth or adoption of a child below the age of majority;

While I understand the intent behind this section, it's so poorly worded that any government or business could quite easily get around the minimum 8 weeks in E.(1). I'd like to see this resolution fail, and to come back rewritten in such a way that it closes the obvious loopholes in it.

Also the grammar isn't the best.

Hi guys. I was a member... About ten years ago. Now I'm back!

Welcome back, Twickers. You predate me by like 5 years, and I think the only major changes are we have a discord (very slow, but not quite as slow as our RMB) and a map that no one has claimed a spot on in like 8 months.

Probably a good thing, photoshop's been uninstalled since January.

Anyway, welcome back!

The real new poll! How do you feel about living in your NS country? Sorry. I accidentally restricted it residents initially. It's open now

So here's a question, guys:

How many of you have dropped plates, and/or seen the HBO Watchmen series?

I have dropped plates, however I haven't seen the HBO Watchmen series

Beazlend wrote:I have dropped plates, however I haven't seen the HBO Watchmen series

I'm the other way around. Never dropped plates, but I did see the series. It's a real solid series, a sort of "35 years later" to the graphic novel.

I appreciate the poll idea, but I'll admit, my nation wasn't conceived in a roleplay, so I haven't put much thought into its origins.

Please approve this WA resolution to help combat WA poaching.

Nah I'm good. it looks like you guys wrote it yourselves in order to give yourself a condemnation.

Condemnation for writing telegrams? There are worse actions to condemn....

Time for the monthly RMB post, where I remember I'm "in charge" of "communications" and post something here to try and get a convo going.
For those of you who have an opinion, do you prefer Western mecha stories and designs, Eastern mecha stories and designs, or neither?

An example of western robots would be things like Pacific Rim (the first one), Battletech, and HAWKEN for anyone who remembers the short time that existed. Oh and I guess Titanfall.
Eastern mecha would be along the lines of Gundam, Armored Core, Zone of the Enders, and the like.

Obviously there's scores more examples beyond those listed for both sides, but I went with what I figured were the more common ones.

I'd have to say Eastern Mecha but I found Pacific Rim to be fun
