Basic law will govern the region until the adoption of a constitution.

Regional government Officers

CHAIRMAN OF THE STATE COUNCIL:
The Chairman of the State Council is tied to the office of the founder, the CSC is the nominal head of state, he/she appoints the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, and may in times of distress or imminent danger to the region has the authority to declare Martial Law. He approves the appointments of the President, and serves as a voting member of the State Council and as a member may introduce legislation. The CSC has Presidential pardon authority, but normally will defer those powers to the President. (See President below)

Since the founder is controlled by three nations, only South Waterford is permitted to voted on regional matters.

PRESIDENT: The President is tied to the office of the World Assembly delegate, as such the President is the head of the administration of government in the region. He represents the region in the World Assembly, at home and abroad, and has the authority to create and appoint and dismiss regional officers, subject to the assent of the State Council. In times of distress and danger the President can request the Chairman of the State Council to declare Martial Law. The President may present legislation to the State Council, and may request delayed voting on legislation up to five (5) days. The President has the authority the pardon nations without consent of the State Council, for any crimes that may have or may not have been committed.

VICE-PRESIDENT: The Vice-Presidential duties are to assist the President in the administrative duties of the region, if the President is absent from the region for more than 2 days and 1 hour, the VP shall automatically become acting president, the CSC will assist the Acting President either the discharge of duties on the Executive side.

PRIME MINISTER: The Prime Minister is appointed by the President, with the consent of the State Council. The PM is the chief legislative officer of the State Council, and directs the daily operations of the Regional government. He/she has the authority to propose new officers of the Region for the President's approval. The PM is also in charged with recruitment and may appoint a recruitment officer subject to the President's appointment.

FIRST DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER: The FDPM shall assist the PM in his/her duties regarding the administration of the region. In addition to those duties he/she is the Regional polling officer and is the Representor in charge of roll playing for the region. Should the PM be absent from the region for more than 2 days and 1 hour, he/she shall assume the role of Acting Prime Minister, discharging those duties with full power and authority.

SECRETARY OF STATE: The region's SOS is appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister and is in charge of foreign relations.

MINISTER OF THE INTERIOR: The Minister of the Interior is appointed by the President on the advice of the Prime Minister, and regulates trade between the member nations.

Current incumbents in office, shall remain in office throughout the transitional period. The State Council of the region shall have full force and authority to make laws that will remain in effect until a permanent constitution is put into effect.
