The Königin is appalled at the prospect that President Walker would allow his personnel to attack the soldiers of another nation without adequate evidence to justify it. Even if additional proof comes out that does point towards this NPE patrol being responsible for the gunfire heard, the fact that these soldiers decided to act based on an assumption and risk greater conflict rather than to report back to their command is damning enough, and as such the Königin has ordered an embargo of all Confederate Imperium goods within the Königreich, until such time that President Walker can prove his nation more trustworthy.

New 'Carrierstar' Design Revealed! First Three Ships Named!

After months of development and construction, the Königliche Marine has announced a trio of new vessels classified as "carrierstars". Seemingly more purposed towards starcraft duties, they have traded off a lot of the direct offensive weaponry most Battlestars posess in favor of improved industrial capacity and hanger space. These vessels are also being outfitted with new Katadin Epstein Drives, which should vastly improve the vessels maneuverability in actions below C. These ships will be the first to make use of this technology, and most are expected radical changes to the design before the new drives are spread out across the greater fleet.

The vessels and class have been named, with the lead ship being the Denkmal and it's two sisterships the Echo and the Eikaszív respectively. These ships are expected to still require a few more months of shakedown and work before they are assigned to the fleet proper.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs for Trade has called that an embargo seems a bit drastic and uncalled for. It times of firefight and when you're fighting for your safety, sometimes things go astray. We will not be bullied for our national defense.
