Isolationism - Your nation wishes to have no involvement with other countries in the general sense, primarily focusing on itself overall. You as a leader may appear paranoid or have a sense of mistrust with other foreign leaders or nationals.

Economic/Trade Focus - Your country is primarily focused on either expanding your trade routes, or aiding its economy because of a recent recession, or because you have a sense that your economy could be better. This may include you loosening up economic regulations, or having the government itself invest in the economy. Whether or not you want foreign investments is purely up to you, unless a sense of nationalism fills your lungs.

Active Competition - Your country is ambitious on the international stage. Its focus is to compete with countries either around the world, or nearly with your neighbors. Regardless, your country wants to expand in any way, but you're facing some resistance along the way that you wish to rival against.

Stabilization - Your country was recently faced with some hardship, and right now you're focused on fixing that instability by any means necessary. You may be either inclined to working with other countries, or merely doing it on your own.

Sphere Preservation - Your country currently has a sphere of influence over more than one country, and right now your intending on preserving any influence you may have over a given geopolitical area of the region. However, you have no real intentions on expanding your stronghold.

I do not wish to tell - You have some sort of ambition that matches the other options, but you just don't want other countries to know.
