31 August 2110 | The invitation to the Liranaholm was received three days later due to complications with the long-range communication network and several incompatibilities with the satellite communications network. A response confirming the Xin-Fael Federation's wishes to attend the meeting would not come for another week as Xin-Fael scientists tried to figure out a way to beam back a message. Then lay the main issue: the fact that Liranaholm was out of the range of most of Xin-Fael aircraft. Although a select few heavy lifters could reach the destination, they were kept in reserve for special military tasks and the military wasn't too willing to give them up. If the sea route is taken, they would be required to utilize military ships (mainly fast combat support ships) which wouldn't look good for a diplomatic mission. Ultimately, it was decided to contact the allied nation of Athejia to see if they had a quick means of transport to Lirana.
