I stood before the Emperor waiting his assessment on the report regarding the Ambassador death. Personally i didnt think much of its continence but ultimately the decision of the Emperor what would happen next. "Red, am i right in my understanding that this report states our ambassador was killed due to being involved in a drugs ring and basically annoyed the boss of said ring?" asked the Emperor. i looked at him and cleared my throat "That is correct my lord" i replied.

Sarah Perez the current Prime Minister said then "To my understanding, my lord, Triwen has already investigated the situation and are looking to make an arrest anytime soon."

"Well thats good to hear, then the Triwen Government wont mind a Talon or two being sent to oversea proceedings." The Emperor responded.

The look on her face was closed off, i could tell though that she was weighing up her options. she knew like me that sending Talons to Triwen even in an observation would not only serve to strain relations further but also show that we have little confidence in their skills. Though conversely to voice those options could be make an enemy out of the Emperor as this situation had seriously upset him as of late. "My lord, would it be wise to send a Talon to oversea proceedings? it could send the wrong message instead." she ventured after awhile.

"Red your view please?" Asked the Emperor.

"The Prime Minister is correct my lord over the message that will be sent should we send a Talon to oversea proceedings. Though i think their report is bull. Thus my suggestion my lord would be to send a member a my own division there to oversea matters. Whilst at the same time allowing a joint covert Talon and Eyes investigation to take place." i said.

At this point the Prime Minister begun to speak and was quickly silenced by the Emperor. "We will go with your plan Red though with one addition and that will be the Minister of Foreign Affairs will accompany the Eyes operative."

I bowed and replied i understood and turned to leave. As i left i could hear the Prime Minister arguing the merits of the plan with the Emperor.

Meeting between the Prime Minister and Chief of Military Intelligence Service
From the prospective of the Chief of Military Intelligence Service

"Their Minister of Foreign Affairs and an aid are coming to oversee this investigation?" asked David

"Yes sir, though its our thought that the aid will not be a normal aid so it will be worth keeping an eye on him" i replied

"They wouldn't dare send a Talon surely?" David responded.

"Possibly but short of arresting him upon arrival within the Union we are unlikely to discover if he is or not."

"Agreed and getting caught wouldn't be good for political relations between our two nations. Though it seems they didn't buy the reason for the ambassadors death." David said in a flat tone. Which was understandable, given that we still didnt know why he had been killed in the first place. Though if he had said that to the Parakkans they would have called us incompetent which in this case wouldnt be far wrong. The only lead we had thus far was with a criminal known as William Lal.

"Sir the only lead we have is on William Lal, as you know he is an influential member of the Corsican mafia, though we are still looking into the connection. It might be worth sharing this information with the Parakkans when they arrive. After all they have their own type of mafia so their could be some sort of relationship between the two criminal organisations." i said.

"Ill consider it. Just ensure that we get as much information as possible before they arrive." he said turning away from me and staring out of the window. As i turned to leave he said over his shoulder "Also best to look into possible Dyetschland involvement in this situation. They would love to see us at odds with the Parakkans.

"Will do sir."

As i left the office and made my way out of number 10 and into the waiting car, i picked up the phone and dialled. After a moment a voice said "Authorisation code" i replied "143 Black 6" then there was a moment of silence when the voice said "What can we do for you chief?", i thought for a split second then said "Best put some extra man power into the investigation of the Parakkan Ambassador, in addition reach out to our contacts in Dyetschland and see if they have any ideas of whats happened." With that i terminated the call and sat back and enjoyed the ride.
