Comrades, we gather here today, solemnly commemorate the day a great tragedy has befallen the world, the day which marks a great setback for the progressive people all over the globe, especially for the working class. The day which I am talking about is none other than September 11 - the day the 1973 Chilean Coup d'état occurred. The legitimate administration under President Salvador Allende was stabbed in the back by the military, Chile was taken over by the hands of the bloodthirsty reactionaries who destroyed democracy and freedom. The fact that the so-called "Miracle of Chile" has been debunked since a long time ago (you can try googling "Miracle of Chile myth") has dismantled the last weapon of Chilean Junta apologists.

We will never forget, and never forgive!
