A large outbreak of Potato Flu has appeared in Angery. Right now the DLDOH has it under control, but rumors are spreading that this will not go well.

RP: Potato Flu: H3N6.

The DLDOH is trying to contain the virus as much as possible. Emergency hospitals are being setup around Angery, and the quarantine has been expanded to all of Hooman state. Curfews are in place for Angery, and mask-wearing is mandatory in the Hooman state. Due to their extreme resiliency to the virus, a sentient shibe has volunteered to help get a better cure.

Oh right, the cure. H3N6-C is an extremely ineffective cure. Currently, 2535 people are being treated with it as it is extremely hard to produce by Doge Landian pharmaceutical companies. The shibe may help find H3N6-C2, which may be able to help more people and get the virus controlled.

After what happened all those years ago, a lot of Doge Landians got vaccinated, but after the NVA movement, barely anyone has gotten a vaccine.

There is also a suspicion shared by medical scientists and doctors- that this strain of Potato Flu is not what it seems.
