New Tariff Hikes - Retribution for Den Fulkrum?

In a surprising turn of solidarity from the vulpine within the Alpha Centauri system, many of the Duchies on Sperenza have elected to heavily increase the tariffs on Stekarian goods within their borders, as well as onboard stations under their respective governance. This isn't expected to affect local markets too much, given the prevalence of other goods and services either routing from Sol or deeper within Silberflussian space. Duchies involved have stated their intention to use the income gained off of the increased tariffs to help Fulkrum charities, with their desire to enforce some kind of consequence for the unlawful attack the Stekarian Navy made during the Ch'I War against the city. Citing the Konigin's lack of action against the Nords for their transgressions, they have elected to take matters into their own hands.

Amnesty Parking for Sol Refugees

Due to the ongoing conflict within the Sol System, the Konigin has waived the usual docking fees for vessels fleeing the war zone, and offered any who wishes it temporary asylum until the conflict is over. While much of the planet's defensive network has been reinforced and kept on ready, the majority of Sperenza's efforts are presently preparing for mass aid and support for Post War efforts, as well as getting ready to ship out food to regions who have been cut off from the usual supply chains. Local vessels are advised either to park on the planet below, or to avoid more public stations as refugees flood in. Newcomers are also advised to avoid the radiation belts of Sperenza, as well as to remain within the planet's shadow whenever possible to avoid the solar flares from Proxima Centauri.
