TERROR IN GOTHENBURG! Sarin Attack and Fires Kills 16 in the Port of Gothenburg

The attack started at 11:26 A.M. in the busy port of Gothenburg. Before the attack started a currently unknown amount of perpetrators hid six canisters of Sarin gas across the port. These canisters were found out to be modified 16oz spray cans which would mix the Methylphosphonyl Difluoride and the Methylphosphonic acid dichloride together as well as Isopropylamine in order to counter the Hydrochloric acid created in the forming of the Sarin. These spray cans would start automatically spraying almost half a liter of the aerosolized Sarin once the cap was opened.

The terrorist attack started when the four canisters were opened all at once. Following soon after the Sarin gas being released several perpetrators started to throw Molotov Cocktails and other improvised incendiary devices in order to start fires across the ports. By the time the fire department arrived the fires had spread and they were forced to divert their resources to evacuating the civilians from the fast-acting Sarin gas before they couldn't be cured. This lead to the fire burning down much more of the port then it could normally. Another factor that causing there to be so much damage is the fact that the primary export of the port is Crude Oil which meant that several canisters holding that crude oil caught fire. The fire have been estimated to have caused over 700 million dollars in damages.

These attacks killed 16 people, 11 of those deaths were the result of the Sarin gas while the rest are from the fires. Around 2,300 were injured to varying degrees while over 500 had temporary vision problems from the Sarin. This is by far the deadliest terrorist attack in Sweden. Such a devastating attack on the second largest city in Sweden will make 21/12 a day that will remain a tragedy that all Swedes will remember for generations.

As of the time of writing, only 6 of the perpetrators have been caught. Danne Lundin, Anne-Marie Ivarsson, Göran Ekström, Vilhelm Blum, Jeannette Svinhufvud, and Osman Najjar. When the six were interrogated they all explained that they were members of the SUDF. It was also found out that they all were voters for the Communist Party. A strange thing is that they offered different motives for the attack. Some claimed that the attacks were purely a strategic move to try to cripple the Swedish government and to held even the odds for the SUDF, while the others claimed that it was an attack on the "capitalist tyrants" that controls the government of Sweden.

The attacks have devastated the Swedish Economy. The Port of Gothenburg is the biggest port in Sweden with the port alone handling 30% of Sweden's foreign trade. The damages to the ports has led to the port having to be shut down until the damages were repaired and the Sarin liquidated from the area. The prices of goods produced in Sweden in foreign countries have in general increased. However, the worst hit was to Volvo. With the combined factors of both Volvo Cars and AB Volvo's headquarters being damaged, their largest factory known as the Torslandaverken getting damaged, and the fact that one of the port's largest export is vehicles means that Volvo cars made in Sweden have seen an over 10% increase in price in foreign markets.

One of the biggest economic issues of the attacks is the fact that Sweden gets a good chunk of their oil from the port of Gothenburg. With the ports expected to take months to get back to a functioning state and the SUDF Insurrection consuming large amounts of oil, the Swedish government is in dire need of oil. Already the government is trying to secure a trade deal with other EU member states in order to supply the nation with oil until the ports are back up and running.

It is not known how the SUDF in their incredibly dire straits as of recently were able to get their hands on the resources for over three liters of Sarin gas. However, many believe that the SUDF got the resources from a foreign country, most likely a nation that already owns chemical weapons. The Swedish government is already planning to hold an investigation to find out where the SUDF gained access to the resources to commit this act of chemical terrorism.
