A lot has changed in the past couple weeks. This post will tell you some of the major things happening in Sweden recently
The SUDF Expands North
While the rest of Lappland while almost constantly fighting, the areas north of Pajala and Kiruna was not so volatile with most of the population already under or supporting the SUDF and next to no military presence there. This led to just about everything in the most northern parts of Sweden being occupied by them. The only exception being an area in the most northeastern part of Sweden which is currently being held by EU Forces from Norway and the Sámi residents there.
Luleĺ Pocket is Prevented
One fear that was prevalent until recently was that the SUDF's eastern forces would connect and surround the city of Luleĺ. The answer to this would come on the 28th of April. Despite the SUDF's best efforts and the barrack-to-barrack fighting there, the garrison in Boden pushed them out. This allowed the Government to enforce the area around Luleĺ. In response to this the forces in Överkalix and Övertorneĺ have connected with the north through the road to Pajala.
Sámi People Resist the SUDF
The Sámi have become some of Sweden's best resistance fighters against the SUDF. The Sámi are some of the Government's most fervent supporters with most of them either voting for the Moderates or the SEP. The reason for this is that while the Social Democrats historically were the ones who discriminated and preformed Swedification to the Sámi. It was the Moderates, however, that made the Sámi Parliament and formally apologized for the wrongs they have committed to the Sámi people. The Sweden-Alliance have done many things to help the Sámi people such as compensation and help in teaching the Sámi languages in the north. Some members of the SEP hold less than favorable views on the Sámi. However, most members view them as being in the European Superethnos despite not being Indo-European.
The EU Sends Forces to Sweden
Following Regulation 193/2022 the European Union have been called to protect Sweden from its Insurgency. In response, they commenced Operation Stable Ice in order to secure Sweden's stability. They have sent 2,500 Gendarmerie forces and 7,500 European Corps troops with 12,000 in Reserve. They forces have recently all got here and have been a huge boost to the small Swedish Armed Forces in the fight against the SUDF.

JAKARTA - Supreme General Prabowo Subianto, head of the Progress Party, has called for a second snap election after claiming that current Prime Minister Mark Rutte won through "election fraud, bribery, corruption and fake democratic speeches". Rutte approved the second snap election earlier today. Rutte also stepped down from leader of the Conservative Right Coalition following the merging of the CRC and the Unity Party, leading to the United Conservative Party of Indonesia (UCP). Puan Maharani has been made head of the UCP.

Public Memorandum regarding Indonesia-Japan foreign bilateral relations - Following a review of the previous foreign relations and treaties and pacts, the Commonwealth of Indonesia would humbly like to extend to the government of Japan an invitation to revitalize foreign affairs.
The government of Indonesia would like to sign a bilateral treaty that will detail, change and extend the current state of affairs between Indonesia and Japan. We would like to discuss multiple topics such as a free trade agreement, the strengthening of governmental, military, and trade cooperation between Indonesia and Japan, collaboration between Japan's JAXA and Indonesia's Indonesian Space Exploration Agency (ISEA). Indonesia would also like to discuss and finalize a military cooperation agreement between us and Japan to strengthen and solidify the protective bond between our two nations.
In summary, the Commonwealth of Indonesia would like to invite representatives of Japan to Jakarta around the time period of July to August 2022 to discuss the subjects stated above. Indonesia and Japan have long been close allies, and the new government would like to further this alliance, which will continue to assist in the unification of the world as we know it.

CONCERNING: Metropolitan Francais aka France
Public Memorandum regarding the purchase of armaments of France by the Commonwealth of Indonesia - As reviews of our armed forces' equipment and capabilities have occurred, the Armed Forces General Command is currently reconsidering its purchase of armaments from France. In consideration, France holds a modern arsenal of weapons, however, Indonesia seems to already be capable of fighting a small-scale defensive war by itself.
With all of those in consideration, and with advice from the esteemed Members of Parliament as well as the Cabinet of the Prime Minister, the Armed Forces General Command, with the full authorization of the Cabinet, National Security Advisor and Supreme General, hereby rescinds its manifest of purchase of armaments from France.
To summarize, the Commonwealth of Indonesia WILL NOT be purchasing any military equipment from the French Republic. Although this deal has been rescided, Indonesia may offer a deal to purchase fighter jets in the future.

JAKARTA — After almost but not quite a day, the Election Commission of Indonesia (ECI) closed the doors and secured three candidates' chance to win the Prime Ministership. Adi Erdino, the Election Commissioner, announced this morning that three candidates have a secure shot at the prime ministership: Joko Widodo from the United Democratic Front and former Prime Minister, Puan Maharani from the new United Conservative Party and former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prabowo Subianto from the Progress Party and current National Security Advisor and Supreme General of the Armed Forces. However, there is a noticeable difference that can be seen here: They're all Indonesian. For the past 22 years that the Commonwealth of Indonesia has been in existence, all of the elections up to now had at least one foreigner who is half-Indonesian. In the 2014 National Elections, Arthur Krauss and Ernst Jansen were candidates. In the 2020 National Elections, the same half-foreigners were there, except this time Jansen won the office. In the May 2022 Snap Elections, Mark Rutte ran in place of Jansen, who had resigned permanently. Following Rutte's victory, Prabowo Subianto, who was a candidate in every single election mentioned here (including the current election), called on Rutte for another snap election, claiming that Rutte had rigged the election and had committed election fraud. PM Rutte responded by agreeing to another election which he did not participate in. So far, the Prime Minister has remained silent and has not released any public statements since Subianto called him out. Because of Rutte's refusal to join and the merging of the Unity Party and the Conservative Right Coalition, only three candidates remain. Instead of the general public, only the National Parliament will vote on who will win. Currently, the Parliament has been divided equally between the UDFI, the UCP, and the PPI to prevent the UCP candidate from winning just because his party holds a majority. Mark Rutte is expected to leave Indonesia entirely and head to the Netherlands on Election Day. This would mean that the Prime Minister (Rutte) would be outside of the country while the Elections are ongoing. To solve this, the Parliament has voted to make Mary Wilson, Foreign Minister, the Acting Prime Minister until the new one takes office. Because only 90 votes needs to be counted, the Elections should and hopefully will end within 5 hours of it starting. This, however, depends on the Election Commission, who will be responsible for counting the votes. Whoever the new Prime Minister will be, one thing will be guaranteed: He or she will have a big job ahead of him or her. | KOMMUNAL- OG MODERNISERINGSMINISTEREN - | In a meeting with the Cabinet, a proposal was presented by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, which consisted of carrying out a new labor reform in Norway, focusing mainly on increasing the workload and maternity leave. Currently, according to the Norwegian Labor Law, the working day is 40 hours per week, however, the standard established in the collective agreements is 37.5 hours per week, Minister Torbjřrn Rře Isaksen wants to increase the workday to 45 weekly hours and the standard workload will be increased to 39.5 weekly hours, which was certainly not very well accepted by the other Cabinet members, where everyone pointed out that this could cause a stir among Norwegian workers and that Norway would end on strike, this change was ruled out by the Cabinet. The second stage of this reform, which is maternity leave, was also unsuccessful, which aimed to increase paid leave from 43 weeks (full) to 49 weeks or 59 weeks (reduced), which many consider "an exaggeration". Other points of this reform were changed by the Prime Minister together with the Cabinet and presented to Parliament.

| HELM OF DIPLOMACY, MINISTČRE DES AFFAIRES ÉTRANGČRES - | Following a series of consistent withdrawals and backtracking from otherwise bilaterally efficient deals on the part of the Indonesian Government, President Macron and the Foreign Ministry have had to deeply question the Indonesian Government's motives. With seemingly unstable politics and lashing out at the French Republic's longtime ally and trade partner Japan (Philanialle), both Macron and Foreign Minister Le Drian have found Indonesia to be incredibly untrustworthy and unpredictable at this time. With that being said President Macron has blocked Indonesia from making any further arms deals until further notice and will not be making any more dealings with the unstable government in power. Indonesia has also been blocked from receiving any of the agreed upon technology or equipment needed to build their own space rockets and satellites. The current trade deal agreed upon and foreign exchange program remain in place. When Indonesian's choose to elect a government and head of state that can make up their mind, then France will be open to further dealings. In the meantime Macron has applauded the proposed labour reforms in Norway (Greater-norway). |

LAST DAY IN KOREA FOR SCHEFFNER
"I want to be That Nation" speech of the 12th June 2022, Seoul, Korea
On the next day, Scheffner was invited to the Korean Parliament for an important speech. The King of Korea and the entire political class, including all deputees would be present in this mass event. The flags of Germany were raised next to Korea for this occasion.
The Korean Parliament building is fairly modern and nothing like those in Europe. This one block with an immense dome but with a mix of traditional architecture fascinated the Chancellor.
She arrived just before 12 and walked the garden path towards the entry of Parliament where she met the President of the Chamber. The press was gathered from all over the world to cover this first stop in a decisive Asian tour.
As she enters the great hall, applause fills the room in way she did not expect. A wave of support filled her with excitement to say her long prepared speech. She reassembles her papers.

Honorable People of Korea,
I can without a doubt that I have met a truly welcoming nation. I will never forget these three days in a country I didn't know in detail until now.
I met people with aspirations, with dreams, with pride. I also met people who are challenged by today's global threat of instability, of the pandemic that we lived through.
But I can assure you, I have no doubt Korea is a beacon of light in Asia.
Now, who am I, a German, to talk about Asian security. I am the European, the one from far away that should perhaps stay far away. And maybe it is true. Maybe it is true that an Asian problem needs an Asian solution. And, as a matter of fact, I do support this. Any security intiative, the IPDC for example, shows that this region of the world knows whats best for itself.
But then, what are allies for ? I don't know want to be the Nation that just comes with its high horses and tells you what to do.
I want to be that Nation that will be your Ally.
I want to be that Nation that will prove to you, that perhaps there is, still, some truth in international relations
I want to be that Nation without second thoughts and backed dark plans
I want to be that Nation loved and respected by your People first
I want to be that Nation that believes in sincerity rather than petty politics and manipulative transactions
I want to be, what Germany is, a real friend.
Because international relations are like people. In the Asian family, one must gain respect, must gain trust and credibility, before moving forward. And that is why I am here. To trust me, to trust my Nation, to trust Europe, again. A generation of diplomacy has changed. Unilateralism is a thing of the past. We are now in an age, for the better or worst, of regionalism.
So it is why I came here. To reinforce our relations with Korea in a way that is unique and sincere. And this Treaty of Friendship will mark the beginning of a new era of Korean-German relations, and one that will be based on true respect and true friendship.
We will stand with Korea, and we will be sincere with Korea when there are things we won't agree on. Of course, things cannot, and will not be perfect.
But having this stable basis of relations is the first step for a brighter and more prosperous relation and place of Germany in Asia just as Korea has one of the greatest places as an EU ally.

SPAIN DEPLOYS RAPID RESPONSE CORPS TO POLAND
MAY 2022
After long discussion with their counterparts in Poland, the Spanish Ministry of Defence has announced that it has secured the right to station the new Rapid Response Corps (consisting of 60,000 combat personnel in a heavily mechanized force) in Poland as a measure against the Russian Empire. Having created the Corps as its own superior contribution to the "NATO Rapid Deployable Corps" of which NATO formerly had 9, it has allowed Spain to upgrade its importance and contributions to the Alliance and as such hopefully forge a new found voice for the Country within the organization. The Defence Ministry argued it was also a financial investment into Poland as Troops would consume local goods at rates comparable to Spain, providing financial input into local communities.
The Corps features the first deployments of the ASCOD Light and Medium Tanks, meant to supplement the Leopard 2E Main Battle Tanks and as such provide sufficient fire support to Troops without endangering the more expensive and important MBTs. ASTER 30-SAMP/Ts (The European anti-missile & anti-aircraft System) are additionally deployed for the first time for Spain within the Corps alongside the Skyguard-Aspide. In total, deploying over 300 Tanks and over a thousand other Armoured Vehicles, the Rapid Response Corps forms the pride of the Spanish Army with its focus on technology over numbers. This gives a great improvement over the Spanish Army of only two decades prior, which still fielded M60 Tanks and halftracks.

| Scheffner's speech had been met with thunderous applause in the Korean Assembly, the most prestigious delegate, King Daeshim, was pictured with a wide smile on his face as he applauded Schenffner. The media and press ran the speech with heaps of praise, even those of a more conservative nature. A leader who recognised that Asia knew what worked for them while offering a strong hand of friendship struck a cord with Koreans, never alone but never stepped on. Moon Jae-in and fellow politicians across the isles praised the senserity of the speech and the jesture of friendship, and that distance between nations should not affect well-meaning friendship. |
| The speech struck a strong accord with Justice Party leader, Sim Sang-Jung, who has often echoed similar sentiments on campaign trails. In a few media appearances following the speech she could be seen wearing a small German flag pin along with a Korean one that symbolised the growing friendship between the two nations. In answering a question on whether diplomacy had become too harsh internationally she responded with the following; "What was said in the Assembly by Scheffner opitismises how diplomacy should be conducted, with open arms and mutual trust. Allowing each other and regions to resolve their problems, but be willing to assist and make suggestions when needed." |

CONCERNING: Philanialle aka Japan and Metropolitan Francais aka France
The government of Indonesia fully understands the concerns of France and Japan. As the government of Indonesia is currently in a state of flux due to the rapid changes of Prime Minister, we completely understand the fact that nations may not be willing to converse with our government at this time. We would like to, however, make clear numerous statements that France and Japan made earlier today.
Firstly, in regards to FRANCE, the Indonesian Armed Forces only pulled out of the armament purchase deal for the SOLE REASON OF a recent review in which it was found that Indonesia's current armaments were found to be sufficient. Indonesia was not in any way pulling out because another nation offered us cheaper prices or anything like that.
Secondly, in regards to JAPAN, Indonesia was NOT IN ANY WAY attempting to threaten Japan at all. We were only merely observing the freedoms given to the natives of North Borneo. Indonesia is not interested in territorial expansion as it would cost a lot of money, would waste precious manpower, and would lead to the deaths of many innocent lives. We fully understand France and Japan's refusal to converse with our government, and we will honor that until they deem us fit to deal with once more.
