Magoas-Semaros: This is a big game for both teams as they look to get farther away from relegation territory. Magoas is in 15th with 21 points and Semaros trails by one, so this one game can go a long way in determining whether or not they avoid relegation or not.

Cerbon-Phocenes: Although Cerbon is only at 11th place and facing Phocenes, they will look to hang tough with their opponents at home. A win for Cerbon will make a statement, but a win by Phocenes helps them keep pace with the EL spot.

Cooktown-Sparta City: We have a big game between two great squads. Although Sparta City already clinched the EL, a win will help them gather momentum for the rest of the season, while Cooktown is fighting to preserve their EL spot and a win by them is more significant.

Cythara-Piseron: This game isn't really rated that high but it carries important stakes. Cythara can have a statement win at home if they beat Piseron, but Piseron is close to an EL spot and will look to dispatch Cythara to keep pace with Phocenes and Cooktown.

Old Sparta-West Sparta: This game matches a top four team with a team in the lower-half of the table. Old Sparta has shocked West Sparta in Matchday 11 with an away win, so West Sparta looks to avenge their prior loss and stay in the title hunt.

Ternate-Kouraea United: This game doesn't really look too interesting but the stakes for Ternate are much higher as they need to get out of relegation territory.

Strathoy-Tropics: This should be a good game between a mid-table squad and the current leaders in the table. Strathoy can use this opportunity to come out with a statement win against the leading Tropics. For the Tropics, a win is crucial as they only lead by one point over Agrinion and Phalatis.

Kallurias-Stratias: We have another match between two bottom-level teams. A win for Kallurias means they escape further from relegation territory while a win by Stratias gets them out of the hole and puts Kallurias in their place.

Phandium-Cytioch: Not a really interesting game and it won't mean much for either team. Cytioch can at least get closer out of relegation territory, but they're deep in the hole and an away matchup against a lower-middle team such as Phandium stacks the odds against them.

Agrinion-Phalatis: This is the matchup of the week. The last time they played, both teams played to a 3-3 draw. The expectations are for a high-powered offense game featuring electric front threes from both squads. A win by either of them will either help them keep pace with the Tropics or surpass them, so the implications this game will have on the title race will be huge.

Outer Sparta wrote:Sparta's Football Trivia - Fun Factoid
One very memorable thing from the 2010 World Cup in South Africa were vuvuzelas, plastic horns that made a very loud droning and monotone sound when blown. They were inspired from the traditional kudu horn used in African tribes. Vuvuzelas were the subject of controversy due to how loud and annoying they were for players, columnists, managers, and even some fans. Networks had difficulty filtering out the sound of vuvuzelas coming from the stands, and concerns were raised over noise pollution, teams having communication issues on the pitch, and the potential for hearing loss. However, others welcomed the instrument as it brought an authentic African ambience to the World Cup. Whether you love them or hate them, the vuvuzela will forever be remembered as a symbol of the 2010 World Cup.
