Elesa and Peter treat Bernardo with great respect and gratitude. Elesa thanks Bernardo for meeting with her after the dissolution of the KTLHe is 14.

"It is no problem. I have been told that Korania did depend on it to some extent. I am actually here to discuss the formation of something very similar but to a much smaller level. Korania is Old Utopia's biggest trading partner by far, and we are dependent on many Koranian resources produced both on the mainland and in the colonies. And so I have a proposition. I suggest forming a trade alliance that would work as an Old Utopian-Koranian Co-Prosperity Sphere. I was also planning to invite the Balticonians. This sphere would entail free shipping, trade protection, a defensive pact, a military alliance and many more. It would serve as the official alliance between our 2 nations, and possibly, Balticonia."

I'm saying this in RP context, I have no problem with you out of RP.

Elesa nods along as Bernardo speaks. "I feel that an alliance of the sort would be very beneficial to both of our great nations. I feel that with this potential deal, Old Utopia, Korania, and potentially Balticonia would hold great power over Lezra, ensuring a strong and steadfast peace."

In the words of my extremely capitalist friend: "There is literally NOTHING wrong with privatizing everything"

Medical and technology with a little evil stuff here amd there

"Indeed, and to be sure, this alliance would be to create a strong sphere of influence within the world, more importantly, South Lezra, the region in which our situations are located in. We could potentially begin enveloping nations within this sphere, giving them the same benefits but not the same extent. In my opinion, a Co-Prosperity such as this one could be mutually beneficial. We could expand the sphere outside of South Lezra and make footholds in Afrique and Amerique, and diminish the Ivorican sphere of influence."

Old utopia wrote:Kantonic Trade League Dissolved

Yesterday afternoon, the Old Utopian parliament held a meeting to vote on whether to keep the Kantonic Trade League a thing or to dissolve it entirely. There was much debating before the vote happened, with the parliament being firmly split into 3 sides: Those who supported the dissolution, those who didn't, and those who decided to abstain. In the end, both the Communist and Socialist parties abstained, with the Democrat-Capitalist party voting aye to dissolve, the Democrat party and the Technocrat voting nay to dissolve and the constitutional Monarchist Party voting aye. The results came out:

Aye: 73
Nay: 9
Abstain: 68

Marprovian Trade Union formed!

In response to this news, the Marprovians, reliant on trade, have formed a new trade union in it's footsteps!

Dmitri, unable to hold his tongue, chimes in: "With all due respect to the Ivoricans, have they not faded into the backdrop of the Great Lezran Theatre? Have they not become, as the sants say, 'Too big for their britches'? This deal would not only reduce their power, but elim-"
Elesa silences him. "Enough, Dmitri. You are here to observe, and nothing more." She turns to Bernardo: "But he is correct."

Revolt in Batomborio!

Since the Sastans have established hegemony over Balticonia, the Batomborians have revolted, trying to united themsleves with their Sastan brothers. The revolt has been very succesful so far

Oh, I can't do both? PLus, that was the Marprovis, not the Balticonians

"Your son has made a very good observation indeed, Ivorica has faded into the backdrop of the Great Lezran Theatre. But they themselves do not know that. Some nations still look up to Ivorica and are more distanced with us. Ivorica still holds a strong-enough military and to my belief, they still have close ties with The Santland. That is the problem. That alliance should not be allowed to continue, for the benefit of both our nations."

gtg, be back soon.
postpone the Batomborian revolt.

The Renewal
In recent times the great glorious Tsardom of Snowylan has taken a step back from world affairs, however the Tsar has decided that the policy taken by the current parliament is inadequate and personally stepped in. As soon as possible will the Tsardom step back into the foreground of the Great Lezran Theatre.

Professors and theologists and other experts have dubbed this move the start of a great renewal upon which, if successful, will push the Tsardom into a prominent position if not making it a near global hegemon. They theorise that the best cause of action will to be seek the formation of an alliance called the "Romance of the Three Tsardoms", an alliance with both the Koranvistan and Old Utopia.

Although Old Utopia is not a Tsardom, this idea pleases Bernado and he is open to such an alliance.

Bernado, or a key representative of his is invited to the Palace of Peace and Concord in Snowygrad, to discuss such an arrangement

I think it would be better for Alistair, or a key representative to head to the Palace in Pandonus, seeing as both Bernado and Elesa are already there.
Anyways it's getting late over here in Europe, so I'm going to go.
