Following the collapse of the Republic of Yakuvony in 1926, a large area previously held by the Republic fell into total anarchy, leading to the beginning of the "War in the Zone". In the city of Ostrov, the Privykia Family took control of the city, with the aid of the local units left behind by the Republic's collapse. Once the Privykia family took firm control over Ostrov, the Privykia family created the Lotionese Authority on the 15th of May. By the 18th of May, the units were organized under the Lotionese Imperial Army. Much of the Lotionese Imperial Army's focus in the early months of the Conflict within the Zone was battling with bandits outside the city, and various rival factions that attempted to invade Ostrov and dethrone the monarchy. By 1927, the Lotionese Imperial Army made a push towards the city of Gukoyev, seizing it by the 15th of February. The Lotionese Army gradually expanded and began seizing more territory of the zone for the Lotionese Authority. By the 9th of January, 1936, the Lotionese Imperial Army took control of the city of Petrograd, securing the new capital for the growing state. By 1939, the furthest west the Lotionese Authority held was Vodastov, while by 1941, the Lotionese Imperial Army took control over Doryev, which was the last battle the Lotionese Imperial Army would face up until the War of the Three Nations in 1951. By 1936, once the Lotionese took control of Petrograd, the Republican-Era ships that were still in port were seized by the Lotionese, and used for the second branch of the Lotionese Armed Forces, the Lotionese Imperial Navy. The Lotionese Imperial Navy didn't face much action during the War of the Zone until they were used during the War of the Three Nations, seeing combat against Republican ships, and Prabochshists ships. As the Lotionese Authority gradually expanded, and the Republicans and Prabochshists were seen as the largest threats to the Lotionese, the need for an independent air force was recognized. However, one issue was the fact that none of the factories that the Lotionese held were all too capable of creating proper military aircraft that could compete with the rivaling states. Due to this, arrangements were made for the construction of a large factory known as the №1 Zapchastorov Factory, to be built in Ostrov. The construction of the factory and the first airplane designs were supervised by the newly established Lotionese Air Forces. While numerous prototypes existed, the first domestic plane was created and put into service by 1941, which would be dropped for another design by 1943. The LAF would undergo aerial operations against the Republican and Prabochshists Air Forces throughout the War of the Three Nations. (CONT.)

The LAF would hand out contracts to numerous Aerospace manufacturers within the Empire, with some of the more frequent contracts being given to ████, ████, ████, and ████. Along with conducting independent air operations, the Lotionese Air Forces provide air support for the other branches in combat operations. Klimov Sheremetyev would head the Commander of the Air Forces, and as of 2024, the Lotionese Air Forces utilizes 13 bases and has a presence in three civil airports. The Lotionese Air Forces has a personnel of 495,672 between its six sub-branches: Aviation, Naval, Radar, Ground-Based Air Defense, and Airborne Corps.
