Today, the District Elections of the Buzajolini District of Knipina region was held in 05:11-16:11 (GMT +3, Petrovika Time). The results are showing that the winner is the Independent candidate Muffin Pagnelić by %78 of the votes, while the other candidates being Mila Oprovinić (Green Party - %11), Theodoros Yiannapoulos (Independendent - %7), Ivana Ana-Maria Babić (People's Bloc - %3) and Lina Mogronić (Republic, on move! - %1). With that result, Pagnelić is the first cat mayor of a district and the third pet mayor after Valentina Innapović (Golden Retriever - Yogol District/Srejić Region, 2009-2014) and Xandis Ilftyrnisou (Chihuahua - Beogranćis District/Arovski Region, 2018-Incumbent). Muffin Pagnelić is a 2-year-old British Shorthair-Scottish Fold mix owned by Dalleine Pagnelić. Mrs. Pagnelić said: "I applied the election with my cat as a joke. I never knew there were other pet mayors. It's unbelievable that Muffin won, well from now on, Mr. Muffin, i shall call."

Muffin Pagnelić had his first speech in Buzajolini-Tsegronić Conference Hall. He was later fed with fish.
